Food was lovely, staff friendly and professional, restaurant was clean and tidy, they cater for allergies and intolerances. Was a very nice experience, I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends!

An essential stop on our way up to the Highlands. Quick service and lovely food. Can get busy, so you may need to wait 15-30 minutes just at peak times. Haggis and mozzarella panini is always a winner.

We stopped here for some lunch on our journey south two kinths ago and we were very impressed with it. The cafe was very busy but we got seated quickly and the staff worked hard ensuring that no one was waiting long to be served. Our food cane relatively quickly whichbwas great. We were more than happy with the quality of the food, it tasted great. We passed through Moffat with family α month later and made sure to take them here for lunch and they enjoyed it too.

Popped in for lunch while visiting Moffat. Despite it being busy we were served quickly. Quiche special was lovely. Dog friendly inside too which is always a bonus!

Greeted promptly on arrival by Steven. Seated swiftly and given menus to choose our food and drinks. We both opted for a breakfast. Steven noticed I was wearing a band t-shirt and asked if I would like to listen to their music on Alexa. Very thoughtful. He also quickly noticed if people were looking where the toilets are located and directed them. He was extremely attentive. The food was piping hot and the smoked bacon was good, thick and quality meat. My partner commented that the coffee was good quality too. I wasn't keen on the sausage. I enquired as to Steven's name as I was so impressed by his service. Thanks 😊

Recommend booking as popular and very busy. Went to seat ourselves down at a table but ?owner/manageress shouted to go further into restaurant to wait for a table (not good practice), move sign nearer entrance if you want people to await table allocation instead of shouting... Server (older gentleman) explained soup choice/specials and let us look at menu, he returned promptly and took our order of coffee/scones x2. Place was busy and food choices good but could do with a little updating. Enough staff on floor so not waiting too long to be seated and served. Food looked good homely fair and cake/scone selection lovely. Coffee good too. A little expensive for what we had but I understand about overheads etc. Overall I would return.

Lovely cafe, good food and friendly staff. Dogs are welcome. You can sit inside or outside depending on the weather. Can get busy but they will reserve a table for you if you call ahead.
