Whilst visiting the Moffat Woolen Mill, we decided to try the Stag Hotel for lunch. We were welcomed as we came through the door and seated in next to no time. The menu was very comprehensive and offered great value for money. The food was served very quickly and was well presented. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much bother. We will certainly visit again and would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. Well worth the 5 stars.

Lunch was fantastic, beautiful presentation and food quality superb. We all had something different and were delighted with our meals. Thoroughly recommend a visit to anyone visiting Moffat. Despite the country and western music from the juke box it was enjoyed by us all. Most definitely be back soon.
