Stopped by for chips. Good selection of quality fish and chips and a range of other chippy wonders. smoked battered sausage and chips and a red cola eaten by the river. Why stop in moterway services when this is the perfect break!
Excellent haddock, chips and mushy peas! Very good value, compared to many others, @ £7.20!
We go every week after rugby training. My son rates it as the best chippy he has ever been to. I rate it as tasty.
Gorgeous chippie, the best in the Dumfries area according to someone in the queue. We decided to try two of Parmesans (a flattened chicken) suppers with various toppings which were amazing. A gorgeous change to the usual chippie options. Along with chessy chips and a fish supper (but no drinks) it
Quite a good fish( lovely cod and crispy batter) and chips - but for the price which I thought a little expensive they were a bit light on the chips. Afraid I'm a bit old school - I remember when you couldn't carry £2+ worth of chips never mind eat them!!
Passing through on way to the Lothians. Always stop off for a white pudding supper. Can't get them down south. Can only describe it as sublime, light crispy batter, and freshly cooked chips.
Stopped by today for a fish supper and it was the best fish supper I’ve had in all my years of living in Scotland the batter was beautiful and golden and most importantly crispy (however please give the fish just a few more minutes to drain and it will be perfect) other than that it was a lovely mea
First rate fish supper (fish and chips in English. I would rate this place along with Chippy Bank in Ulverston. 10 out of 10, couldn't fault it.
Absolutely brilliant fish and chips! Highly recommended
Brilliant value for money here - great sized portions - perfectly balanced batter and delicious cod. Excellent chips and an amazing first deep fried Mars Bar for us tonight. Thank you Moffat Chippy x
Great place. It's very clean and has very tidy friendly staff. They have a very varied menu at very competitive prices. The food was excellent and the service was fairly fast for the amount we ordered (5 meals). Often puddings can be very stodgy and dry if they are overcooked but luckily the Moffa
Best chicken kebab of my life. Got garlic mayo and chilli sauce too. There is onion and pickled red cabbage under the lettuce and tomato in the salad. Can't recommend enough.
Walked in, placed our order and served within 10 minutes, very impressed , as it included a fresh made to order pizza . The batter on the fish was so light. Menu is vast . Very friendly, best meal we had in our short stay in Moffat.
Service with a smile and excellent food. I had the haddock dinner and my wife had the haggis, both were superb.
Got curry chips, donar wrap and a donar kebab plus bag of chips, everyone enjoyed the food, bit of a wait getting served down to the shop being busy Sunday evening
