Had lunch. Been completely renovated,transformed. Looks fantastic. Lunch very good too. Best hotel in Moffat, by far. The town needs a place like this. Will b back
Beautifully decorated hotel at the top end of the square in Moffat. Good menu selection and friendly service.
Would add that from the outside it looked to my partner and I that it was closed down. Perhaps some hanging baskets or large flower pots would help to brighten it up and let people know that
Stopped off in Moffat for an overnight stay on our way home to Notts from Skye. Our B&B host recommended Moffat House for evening meal. Wow it was perfect, their bar menu was small but had meal choices to suit every palate (less food waste). Great staff, great atmosphere, well worth a visit and not
Visited Moffat House Hotel on 6th June, had a lovely lunch with my brother and sister in law, staff attentive and made us welcome, decor of hotel was really wonderful. Well done, I will be back when I next visit my hometown.

Just popped in for a Coffee was very impressed it's on our list for a lunch
Just had a wonderful lunch, Roast beef bagel,fish and chips and a sticky toffee pudding.
All top quality and wonderful triple cooked chips
The food, the decor,the staff I could not fault a thing

Fantastic place for a nice drink (coffee or something stronger), afternoon tea, or fine dining. There are a number of rooms: bar lounge, conservatory dining, or restaurant. Great atmosphere in all. Highly recommended. Staff always very friendly.
Visited for a funeral, can't find any faults at all. Staff friendly and professional at all times.
The lady taking coats was so lovely on arrival too.
Food and service first class. Hotel been recently re-furbished to a very high spec. Will be going for dinner at night again, very soon.. lovely.
