This venue was a joy to experience. Great food. Great ambience. Perfect for a party. Staff who were professional and friendly. They hosted us as a last minute party to celebrate an early Christmas get together. They made us so welcome and even played festive tunes for us which was a great touch. 15 star rating out of 5 . This place is quite simply fantastic and value for money. Totally family friendly.

We recently stayed at in the ‘Dolly’ cottage for a weekend. It beyond lovely, decorated beautifully & so much attention to detail. We didn’t want to leave! The hostess fills the fridge with essentials & extra’s I’ve never known a place give out so much quality stuff for free. Really goes above & beyond, she was so helpful with directions & recommendations too! Fantastic stay here we will definitely be back on our next trip to Northern Ireland & recommend to anyone.

Let's to put this clear, I am Spanish, and in my personal opinion we have the best gastronomy over the world, I always feel a little disappointed about Irish/Northern Irish gastronomy, until I know this place. This restaurant is in the same level of any of a Micheline Star restaurant or maybe better, the meat is delicious, they don't use a lot of sauces, the taste is delicious, This is my favourite place in all the island, I can just give them a 5 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.

Visited for the first time at Clenaghans restaurant for the early bird menu. We were greeted at the door by very friendly staff and shown to our table. The food was amazing each and every dish of our three course meal.I just want to say that, in addition to a an amazing meal, we had a delightful waitress, unsure of her name. She had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. She recognized that we wanted time to relax and enjoy our meal and did not rush us. She and other staff members made certain that we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend to all our friends and family, and can't wait to go back.

We booked in for afternoon tea and it was beautiful! From we arrived we were welcomed with friendly, warm and approachable staff. We got tasty sandwiches, warm scones and amazing cheese & ham toasties which were honestly to die for! There was a great range of sweets after we didn't know what to try first. The chocolate mousse cake and pina colada cheesecake was fresh, zesty and melt in the mouth! We got endless tea and water top ups and the staff were so attentive. Will definitely be back for another wonderful experience

Had lunch here yesterday with my friend. We were 10 mins late but wasn't a problem to them. From we entered the staff were very friendly and all very attentive. The lovely Sharon looked after us and was professional yet friendly and welcoming. We had the specials of venison sausages and cod with herb crust...I think our empty plates showed how much we loved it. We had some of the homemade vegetable crisps while waiting on our main and these were just amazing!! My friend had rice pudding for dessert which she said was just gorgeous...followed by 2 lattes and 2hrs 15 mins later our waitress Sharon was more than happy to show us the rest of the building as my friend is planning on booking dinner. Having loved Cleneghans before, I can only say if I could I would give more stars and it definitely hasn't lost its charm. Good luck with everything and we will definitely be back. :)

I organised for an 8-person Christmas Dinner last Friday night, and everything from, pre-ordering, the welcome, the seating arrangements, the service (especially Mary!), the food and to the value for money was excellent! Cannot recommend Clemnaghans Restaurant enough, and we will be back on a regular basis ... so start a loyalty scheme LOL!! The only semi-critical comment I would make (and I dod make it to the joint-owners when we were there) is that they will need to rethink their waiting space and arrangements! But it did not in any way spoil a most wonderful evening.

Called in for lunch today. The food was absolutely beautiful, and the staff extremely friendly and attentive. We had our 10month old baby with us and we were offered a large table to ensure we had plenty of room with the highchair. The menu was reasonable priced. Unfortunately after 2 courses I hadn't left enough room to try one of the desserts, but already looking forward to going back

Went for Sunday lunch, typical Sunday lunch menu, had expected something a little different considering the price, starters were disappointing, main course was nice and dessert was nice. Was not we expected from a chef with such a big name. Service was good and the surroundings lovely, tables a bit too close together though. Will try again though for dinner some evening..
