12 of us came here on the 29th December for our family festive meal. The staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, home cooked and plenty of it. The Baileys cheesecake was particularly delicious! Will certainly keep visiting.

Worth a visit, the food is amazing, especially sunday lunch, drinks are a bit pricey but they have to make a profit.

A real gem of a place. Offered all the qualities of a cosy, small village pub, with absolutely phenomenal food. I told the chef it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had, and I meant it! Very quiet inside, made for a lovely impromptu stop off on our van trip.

My wife and myself stopped here for an evening meal. Food was absolutely lovely and reasonably priced. A fabulous service too with one woman running the whole establishment and doing it very well, credit to her. Would definitely call again and recommend it very highly.

Stayed here in campervan overnight and had a few drinks and an evening meal. The food is excellent and one woman running the whole establishment. Recommend the Hunter's Chicken. Excellent service considering, don't know how she does it. Credit to her.

Popped in to grab some lunch. There were a few in eating. I was served a lovely chicken supreme, with a whole breast of chicken, chips and peas, in a fantastic creamy sauce. I could have had vegetables with it too, but I wouldn't have been able to eat it all. Lovely lunch and great value.

We booked a Sunday Lunch here as our daughter was staying nearby. Three of us had roast beef and one had pork. We followed this with fruit crumble and syrup sponges all with custard. Everything was beautifully cooked and very tasty and all at reasonable prices. We couldn't fault the food at all but one poor lady was run off her feet taking orders, serving the food and clearing tables. She did a fantastic job and kept smiling throughout. All credit to her. I would hope this isn't normally the case and that there are usually more staff on. We wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

This is a lovely place. We stayed their overnight in our campervan. Had a lovely meal and a very peaceful night. Just a few minutes walk from Mold Town Centre. Mold, itself, is a lovely town. Well worth a visit.

Standard, traditional pub, and there's nothing wrong with that. Varied menu and separate seating area for dining. Sports on the telly, big free car park, reminded me of the good old days, with pubs how they used to be. A good pub for a Saturday afternoon :)

The food was delicious and far more than we could eat. The deserts were only £2.00 a fraction of what is charged elsewhere. Everything cooked fresh. Well done

My wife and I went there recently for the Wednesday night curry night special. Have to say that the chicken curry was very good and great value at £5.00 including naan bread. They do other special nights - fish on Tuesday and Steak for two with a bottle of wine for £20.00 on a Friday. Staff are friendly and service good. They also do a carvery on a Sunday. Not sure what that's like but the other meals are quite large. They do a kids menu as well. Well worth a visit!!!
