A very comfortable hotel close to the centre of Montrose overlooking a park. Our rooms were in the newer wing and were spacious and comfortable - good beds, blackout curtains. Good food in the restaurant, although service slow even though it didn't seem that busy. Breakfast excellent. Staff very friendly and willing to help.
Excellent service. Pauline was 10stars. Excellent Italian and Scottish humour. Stayed for 3 night's, highly recommend this place. The steak pie wasn't the greatest however still deserves 5stars.
We enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant. The service was friendly and welcoming and the food delicious. Excellent value for money and a very pleasant ambiance. All in all a great way to punctuate a holiday in this part of Bonnie Scotland.
Comfiest hotel bed I’ve ever slept in and great food and wine! Lovely fresh haddock and chips for dinner. Fab glass of Chilean red. Perfect poached eggs and bacon this morning. Big thanks to the hotel’s French chef team, who have been with the hotel more than 20 years and work their socks off. Same goes for the rest of the staff - friendly, knowledgeable, hard-working and long service. Lovely arts and crafts original features, including beautiful fireplace, original woodwork and stunning stained glass window…Thank you Links Hotel for a great stay in Montrose! 👍👍

This is one of the loveliest Hotels on the East Coast of Scotland... French chef made a brilliant Angus steak burger from scratch for me. Friendly, professional and reasonably priced, we'll be staying again.
The room was clean, reception was welcoming and warm reception. Book in and check out was smooth and easy. We had coffee at the bar/tea room, really exceptional cup of coffee. Dinner and breakfast was fantastic, so much food and good value for money, could have not asked for more. Dinner was cooked to perfection and couldn't finish the meal unfortunately, despite it being so tasty. Breakfast was good too, I could see myself gaining a few extra pounds if we stayed longer.. The room itself was clean and well presented, modern TV and for once a hotel with a decent mattress, definitely one of the better stays in a hotel we have had. Servers at dinner and breakfast and at the bar were so friendly, professional and helpful, thanks to all the team for a wonderful enjoyable stay, we will be back.
The rooms are clean, the staff are so friendly (the waiter especially, we didn't get his name- sorry!) and the food was delicious😋 BEST FILLET STEAK WE HAVE EVER HAD. We ate and drank in the hotel both nights of our stay- food reasonably priced with typical hotel drinks prices. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back! The balcony on the room was great, especially to enjoy some sunshine. The hotel is in a good location and handy to reach the main street. The only downfall was the shower, the water flow was very poor. I thought it was maybe due to the time of day and unfortunately it was the same later in the day. If the shower was more powerful, it'd definitely be a 5* review.

The room was excellent, large room and wee balcony. The staff are so friendly and ensure you have everything you need.Dinner was delicious as was breakfast . Definitely will return.
Staff are so friendly. The meal we had in the restuarant was first class. The hotel is a bit older but very clean and we would love to stay here again.
Lovely spacious room, nice sized bathroom. Wonderful entrance hall. Restaurant was comfortable, food was exceptional! Staff friendly & efficient. Couldn't fault anything. We will return.

Excellent service from friendly, helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble👍 Large bedrooms very pleasant with huge bed🛌though bathroom dropped the point. Shower just dribbled on you, not powerful enough to wake you up🚿 Breakfasts good, plenty choice to suit everyone. Evening menu extensive, salmon cooked to perfection, steak pie full of meat and lovely flaky pastry.
Close to town centre, 5 mins walk, nice shops. Great for a relaxing weekend, will definitely be back 🤗🤗🤗🤗
A welcoming, comfortable and clean hotel. We had a large room with king size bed which we were happy with. Some of the fixtures and fittings in the bathroom were a bit dated and it was difficult to control the temperature in the room and the bathroom (just a radiator / heated towel rail and no room thermostat).
Wonderful place to stay for a while. Better than Edinburgh upscale hotels. Very attentive staff. All the amenities. They went out of their way to accommodate us and our requests. Comfortable beds that are easy on the back.
