For the price you cannot beat it.
The lamb curry is just right too.
Price is very good.
I only wish they'd bring me one whole naan instead of a sliced one. As it reminds me of pita when it's sliced into pieces.
Visited here today (Thursday 5.15pm) for their £9.95 buffet, a party of 4 adults and we were all very pleasantly surprised. Attentive staff, atmosphere lost a star because of some noisy kids (but that's not really the restaurants fault), a virgin Pina Colada that wasn't great but not bad, a lassi that was definitely ok and a mango juice that was also ok, so the drinks were ok, maybe a little pricey but you expect that at a buffet anyway. However, the food choice was very impressive. If you remember Jimmy Spices or JRC then this place shames them...honestly! I've reviewed around the world (read my other reviews) and I always call it as I see it and for the money this was without doubt the best value for money buffet I've had....full stop. So you might ask, why only 4 stars on the food? Well, the chicken dhansak was spicier than the lamb madras and neither gave me a sweat which I would have hoped for from at least one of the offerings. However, there's a lot of offerings, korma, tikka masala, Madras, dhansak to name a few but there was a prawn dish, tandoori chicken (legs and thighs), onion bhajis, mushroom bhaji, 3 different rice, some aloos, all told about 20 items to choose from (in my photo each container has 2 items in). Now, honestly none of the dishes were the best version of the dish I've ever had BUT the variety, flavours and amount of meat mean this is definitely one of the best Indian meals I've had for anywhere close to the money. Full disclosure, I do love having a spoon (couple of meat chunks) per dish / curry for the different flavours so this is an ideal place for me.
My wife and I will definitely be back, maybe have to limit ourselves for weight gain reasons but that would be the only reason. Try it, you won't be disappointed. One last thing, I'm not sure if they serve alcohol, I was driving so didn't look too hard but didn't spot it on the drink menu.
Loved this gem of a place. The atmosphere was cosy, family friendly & happy. The buffet is a great choice at only £6.99, eat as much as you like, with a large choice of delicious foods to choose from. Drinks are generous & a cup of tea very good.......... Loved the coconut ice cream served in half a coconut shell (which I was allowed to keep 😁 & perfect for making a fat & mixed seed treat for the birds) the dessert was the perfect size for the two of us. Lovely friendly staff.
Very good food. Large, well presented tables and restaurant tidy restaurant with a classic 'help yourself all you can eat' counter. The food was very flavoursome and filling. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend and return again. If you're after Indian cuisine all you can eat help yourself buffet this is the place to go.
Been coming here for over 20 years... buffet options have increased over the years and are good value for their price. Cost effective approach, and always the a la carte menu if you don't fancy the buffet. Mr Taz is a star, and the place is always packed evenings and weekends... highly recommend
Our go-to restaurant after trying many different in the area. Amazing food always great service, opens very late too which is always a bonus! Affordable prices for such tasty food. Food always arrives hot and fresh, no complaints!!
Really amazing! Service 5 out of 5 so professional, super clean, food was great - all dishes very tasty, good amount of choice. You can see everyone is putting a lot of effort for that place to work! Well done
Been going here for around 7 years, introduce multiple different people here and everyone loves it! such good food and lovely staff. I love visiting for dinner, the buffet food is amazing and continuously topped up so always fresh. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend 👌
Excellent range of buffet dishes, chicken, lamb, prawn & veg curries. Tandoori chicken and fresh onion salad very good. No longer serves alcohol but you can byo.
It's not only the price that's really good, but it's the quality and choices they have. Such a gem in London. Hopefully the locals support em. It's clean, it's good, quality, and tasty, and price
Very cheap buffet, only £9.99 and quite a lot of options to choose from. The dessert is not oart of the buffet. There was something called 'sweet doughball' which was just sweet dough ball.
Good value for the price.
amazing place, always love coming to eat here. £10 is a bargain for the buffet. probably the best indian food ive had. 10/10 for sure
We have been coming/ ordering since they opened. Love the food and place. You can bring your own alcohol. Ticks all the boxes.
Delicious food, we always come back.🤭 (peanut sauce is the best)
I also recommend using the Too Good to Go app, I'm always pleasantly surprised.
