Local but not the nearest to me. I picked it from Google reviews and you weren’t wrong. I had a small cod… watching the calories and it was plenty. The batter was lovely, not greasy and the chips perfect. I’ll definitely use them again. Friendly kind service

We came from Crawley to visit our family and dropped in to buy fish and chips. Absolutely lovely. Fish was perfect. All very generous portions. We were struck by the 5 staff all smiling at us as we left. We look forward to coming again 😊. Highly recommended.
Always great service and great food. Lovely local chippy. Been going here for 15+ years, the new owners (as of Aug) are just as friendly and reassured me that they are changing nothing about the food they provide. I've already had fish & chips twice and both times lovely.
Last review I did was 5 years ago, so time to refresh under new managment. Meal tonight portions were a good size and Food was excellent. Cooked to perfection. Updating the walls etc too and looking good.
When they say fish and chips this is what I call the best fish and chips I have ever had we just stopped off by chance and I have never been here before so to be surprised with the very best fish and chips ever was a big surprise chips where Chrispy on the outside and fluffy and cooked on the inside
Great chips! Chicken burger was very thin and a bit dry but still tasted okay. Fish and pies are good from here as well.
Excellent, best fish and chip shop I've been to in the U.K., very clean, friendly staff. The wooden decor was very fitting. I had a large haddock and chips and I loved it, (I think it was £7-£8 and it was very big so good value for money) I will definitely return (probably getting a medium next time

Phoned ahead with order. Always friendly greeting on arrival. Food freshly cooked and tasty. Highly recommended
First used nearly twenty years ago when we moved into the area. We regularly try out other chippies but always return to this one as the best we have found. Never any smell of stale oil. Always clean. Often have to wait whist your fish is cooked to order. Family run and they remember their regulars
