Saffron Restaurant - Morecambe - Photo album

Recently went to Saffron while on a visit to Morecambe for a short holiday break. Found Saffron via Google maps and we were torn on going as we go to Indian a lot but it was very good. I had the king prawn madras which was good and my partner had the chicken jalfrezi which was Very good. The Bombay
A group of us enjoyed a lovely meal at Saffron. The starters, curries and accompaniments were excellent. I can highly recommend the chicken tikka jalfrezi and the korma. The service we receives from Hassan was superb.
Date of visit: 4 June 2023 From Lancaster, but looking to eat out in Morecambe, stumbled upon this restaurant. It’s underground and has kept original features. Lovely curry, great presentation. No alcoholic drinks served which we didn’t know about before but you can bring your own. Very quiet but no
Great food here and lovely staff. Shame about having to pay 50p for your wine glass as you take in your own alcohol so I advise take bottles you can drink out of.
It was ok, the decor was ok, the food was alright soup was nice, the main dish was nice mince and chicken mixed together but the mixed starter was bland especially the lamb. The one thing that bugged me was when they seating people they seat them near you when the whole place is empty.
Went on a Tuesday evening and was a tad quiet but never mind. Didn't realise you had to bring your own alcohol if you drink. The service was excellent and the food was very good (excellent). The prices are good. Would recommend you pay a visit. Don't know if it's disable friendly, would ring before
The room is really different nothing to say it is an Indian restaurant apart from the music but there are some amazing carvings like the bar. A very unusual place. Food was very nice.
Lovely food, fantastic service, nice and cosy and take your own booze. Its a hidden gem. I love it here
Nice little Indian restaurant with a nice selection of food. The staff was nice and made sure everything was right. The night me and my sister went was quiet night and was still a nice atmosphere. Will be going again and trying something different to see if it's as good as tonights visit. It does ha
Good food, friendly staff. Have been there a couple of times. They offer student discounts as well.
Very welcoming restaurant. Food great. Love how the restaurant is downstairs, lots of character. You can take your own alcohol. Definitely worth a visit.
Really enjoyed it. The food was delicious and the ambience really nice. A nice little restaurant. Good value.
Excellent service, staff very friendly. Food was fabulous really recommend visiting
This is probably one of the best Indian restaurants in Morecambe, we have never had a bad meal here. There's a good selection of dishes on the menu from Aloo chaat to Vindaloo all at a Very reasonable price, plus you can bring your own alcoholic drinks with you.
Fantastic food as usual. Lovely, friendly staff. Great value for money. They also have an early bird menu for £16.95 which includes a starter, main course and naan or rice. Definitely recommend.
Easily one of the best Indian restaurant we have eaten at. Staff were amazing so friendly and great with the children. Food was tasty and really fresh, being your own wine is a bonus. Shame we come from Manchester it's a long way to come for an Indian. Amazing value for money.
Great find. Down some stairs in a very nice setting. Had popadoms & tray Chicken Tandoori & wife had onion bhaji. Masala & korma Very nice and great service Will be back
First time ordering tonight. Amazingly well seasoned food. Hot on arrival will definitely be ordering from here again. Will be recommending to all my friends
