Successful spoons formula. Stress free ordering via the app. Plenty seats , refillable tea, reasonably priced food. Very reasonable alcohol prices. Free WiFi. Open 8am to midnight. Everything from toast and marmalade to 3 course dinner with wine available. I had tea and toast - no complaints.

Decent Wetherspoons with the usual decor. Nice seated area upstairs with a fair number of tables, we ate lunch here and it was busy downstairs but a bit quieter upstairs.

First time visit...Busy spoons, but served quickly using the app....food was good, toilets clean, overall one of the better run ones I'd say, no complaints.

Down in Morecambe for a gig. Pretty usual 'spoons set up. Does what it says on the tin. Named after local legend Eric Morecambe (was his middle name) Food disappointing on this occasion but they were having problems with the grills and an engineer was on site to be fair. They're just great value. The team were professional and friendly.

Great value. Nice staff. Food was a little overcooked but I'd say an honest mistake. No frills but definitely better than a lot of more expensive places I have been.

One of the better Whetherspoons I've been to. Only down side is that it could be cleaner inside. There's the occasional funny smell, and I wouldn't want to take a blacklight to some of the seats, but other than that, no complaints! Been a couple of times when visiting Morecambe from Manchester and will definitely be back!

Second visit to this pub. Pretty much measures up to the stereotype Wetherspoons image. One aspect spoiled the experience slightly. Several empty tables were uncleared or when cleared, still had food spillages on them. This is a turn off, but happens in many Wetherspoons pubs. There doesn't seem to be sufficient resources given to clearing tables and cleaning up. When you do see staff clearing away. They do seem to be working hard to keep up with the workload. This spoils an otherwise good experience.

Popped in for a bit of tea, bust but food and drink came promptly and tasted good. It's not Michelin star quality but for less than £30 we got 2 meals, 2 drinks and 2 shots

Friendly place, many visitors like myself. A bit of a trek for conveniences, up a set stairs across another lounge then down another set of stairs. Pity as it is a nice place.

You know its difficult not to admire the JDW chain... we were first time visitors to Morecambe and as ale fanatics we had researched the local pubs, but fell at the first hurdle with a frosty reception and no food at one of the pubs that had otherwise enjoyed good reviews. Off to the Eric Bartholomew and everything changed for the better, with a good range of well-kept ales, friendly staff and really quick food service, all at an amazingly good price. Suffice to say we went back the second night, good old Wetherspoons!

As usual I only popped in for a drink before and after my walk. Decent pint at a reasonable price. Quite busy on a sunny day.

You get no surprises from a 'spoons. They are all very similar! Good service here, clean inside. Nice outdoor seating area. FYI the toilets are through the bar, up the stairs, through another bar and then down the stairs; you're welcome!

Staff were lovely, food was good and very reasonably priced. Biggest disappointment was the accessible toilet became the toilet for all as everyone one using in including teens. A couple of times I went to go and was occupied by people looking sheepish when they came out. Piss on seat and floor. Come on have some respect for others even if you have none for yourself. The toilet should have a radar key and be locked. Apart from that had a good evening.
