A really homely place to visit. Suitable for families with it's childrens menu and quiet areas. Several large TV's and pull-down screens showing the football. Special offers throughout the week on food. The menu suits all and the food is freshly prepared - it's delicious. Plenty of space in it's car park, it's really warm and wecoming with lit fires and comfy seating. The Grange won't leave you disappointed!
We were so happy to this place re open aftert it's refurbishment as it is now a lovely welcoming place to come and it's great to have a local within walking distance again!
Staff are always very friendly and welcoming with good banter. Food is good pub grub and the 2 smaller meals for £14.99 is great value for money, though we have noticed the potion size vary (see pics of fish and chips). Only thing that dropped a star is the starters, they are a little over priced considering the size, still tasty though.
Good selection of beer which is always a winner and can highly recommend a Camden Pale or Beaverton. We will be back again and again I expect 🍻
This has just had a refurb and looks great, haven't tried the food yet but watched Tequila atmosphere was brilliant 🥳
the Grange has been recently renovated. really nice walking in. seems more spacious.
we ordered food ,which came quite quickly but they were not busy at all.
i had ham and eggs and my wife had chicken Caesar salad. the ham and eggs were good but the salad had cold chicken which looked as if it had been pre cooked.
that was only a small concern.
overall though our experience was good. we will go back again.
Back from a really enjoyable dinner at the recently refurbished Grange. The décor is very pleasant and relaxing. Menu good choice. The service was excellent reflecting the lovely atmosphere. It was nice to see smaller portions as well as the norm. When the food arrived, it was well presented and tasted a delicious. Both meals, good value for money, flavoursome will definitely be returning.
We were advised the food was good by a local person and it didn't disappoint. They were great with my gluten free options. The service was friendly and we were given plenty of time to enjoy the food and the company of friends. I will return.
Great experience, couldn't fault it good food, excellent portions, reasonably priced. Our visit was late afternoon, too late for lunchtime trade too early for teatime so it was quiet. Next visit we'll go later in the evening and try an evening when there's entertainment on . Definitely will return 😁
Ate here with my friend last night had a lovely roast. I reluctantly had beef as I'm fussy but it was cooked perfectly. Veg and roasties were spot on too. Great meal and service all round. Thank you to all who served and cooked for us.
First time visit since refurb. The place looks very smart. Staff very friendly and while busy, they were all chatty and pleasant.
We sat in the lounge side to begin with, more of a sports bar feel to it with lots of screens and a pool table. Definitely needs better organisation and more seating.
We moved to the restaurant side, although very few folk eating. Atmosphere was better this side, people actually having conversations rather than being glued to the telly.
The Guinness was perhaps the best pint I've had on the Wirral.
We'll be back to try the menu very soon.
Didn't have food (this time) so haven't scored anything. The Grange has scrubbed up really well since the face-lift and look forward to visiting again. Would have eaten but all the tables were booked up so must be doing something right.
Great value set meal. Table service by a super guy enjoyed it. The veggie burger was a meat substitute one not a vegetable one, so perhaps update the menu as my wife didn't enjoy hers.
