Took my partner there for her birthday. Really nice treat. We had the Feta & Melon and King Prawn starters with the the Tuna Steak and Pan Fried Chicken for mains, absolutely to due for. My partner has multiple allergies which the staff dealt with very professionally. On the pricey side but a great destination for a special occasion. And we sat on the terrace in the sun!!
Fantastic restaurant. Delicious food, great drinks selection, fantastic service and a lovely atmosphere (loved the decor and music). I wish we lived closer to visit more often. Highly recommended, thank you for a wonderful meal!
Food and service was top notch. I had the steak and it was done perfectly, something this American rarely finds outside the USA. Have the strawberry desert.
Been here twice now and it is consistently excellent. There is a lovely ambience and the fit out of the place is amazing, the team are efficient, polite and very friendly. The food of course is just fantastic and very good quality ingredients. 100% recommend 👌
Went for the 3 meat Sunday dinner and was amazing, perfectly cooked veg and the tastes of the meats were amazing.
Followed it up with a lemon tart which was beautiful.
Felt like VIP service, very classy and very well priced.
Will be back again, thanks to the amazing staff.

Front of house team are exceptional- they’ve always catered to our baby attending by helping out carrying things to the restaurant area.

The chef, Dan, is a true artist, have seen nothing come out of the kitchen that isn’t an artwork in itself. He has catered to some difficult requests of ours.
Owners are often on site to engage with customers which is a wonderful touch.

Brilliant restaurant, exceptional staff, great food. We visited for my wife’s birthday last night and were treated magnificently by Sam, Aaron and Amy - immense credit to them for making the night. Had their snacks to start followed by mains of Lamb and Rump steak, all cooked and presented to perfection. Been before and will be back again.
Every forkful of this Sunday roast was mouth-watering. Everything was cooked to perfection and served with a smile. Best Sunday roast in the north east. 10/10.
First time visiting NOVO after hearing great reviews and no disappointed. The setting is beautiful, service excellent and food first class! It’s well worth the money and felt like it was a fantastic Xmas treat. It’s not the place I’d take the kids for a quick tea but perfect to get a bit dressed up and spoil yourself without breaking the bank.
I had the beef and my partner had the belly pork, both cooked perfectly, we’ll definitely be back!
Went for the first time for my birthday tonight. Food was exceptional, staff were beyond friendly and very professional/smart. The owner was lovely and the atmosphere was great. What a fabulous night!! The food was beautiful. The slow cooked belly pork, was outstanding, could have been eaten with a spoon. Having said that, our party of 5 had not 1 complaint at all, everything was delicious.
Service, well what can I say, professional, friendly and polite, every member of staff worked their socks off to ensure everyone had a great experience. And finally the cocktails, they were just lush. I would, without a doubt recommend Novo and we will definitely be back.
First time at Novo and I’ve been waiting a while to go. I was very impressed. The decor is light airy and modern and the atmosphere was lovely.
The service was top class and the food was of a very highly standard.
Overall I had a lovely visit and I’d definitely go back.
This is lovely place to eat. The restaurant is smart, the staff are attentive and professional. The food is delicious and the prices are fair. It is not super cheap, but you do get what you pay for.

Morpethians are spoilt for choice for haute cuisine dining experiences, so do we need a Novo (geddit) addition? Well, when the offer is this good, of course we do! Great space and atmosphere, friendly, attentive service, really well cooked delicious food, with attention to detail - perfectly cooked veg (so often neglected by restaureters) and everything beautifully presented.
So, five stars for the food, but might have gone 9/10. Party of three here for Sunday lunch and the tiny teeniest of gripes; we over-ordered veg because the menu was unclear about what came with the standard order (spoiler - plenty of veg!); and my sumptuous beef - soft and rich - was ever so slightly over-done and not quite the 'pink' I had ordered. All of which will have been forgotten in the reminiscence of a thoroughly enjoyable 2hrs in the delightful company of Novo!

I dont even know where to start with this review because I'm still left speechless with a full belly and the taste of a smoked patchouli old fashioned on my lips.
From start to finish the atmosphere was amazing and the staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the menus, drinks and ingredients and they couldn't do enough to help, Ollie, Alicia and Aimee were a delight and a pleasure to be around.
The food blew my mind. I cant figure out how it is possible to get meat so tender. I got the trio of pork, beef and chicken and it was bursting full of flavour, tender and juicy. The veg was perfectly cooked, vibrant and delicious. The roast potatoes must have been done in goose fat or dripping because they were crunchy and soft like pillows and the Yorkshire pudding might as well be from another planet. It was like a genetically enhanced behemoth! Whatever Dan is doing in the kitchen must be made of special food because it was wonderful, and everything is locally sourced as well which speaks volumes to the quality of northimbrian ingredients.
The owner, Greg was such an awesome guy, passionate about creating the ultimate dining experience in morpeth, and I honestly think that with this quality of food, service and atmosphere, it will put morpeth on the map for quality dining.
Micky the mixologist is a gem! A one in a million guy that can create miracles in a glass. The bloody Mary was extraordinary and the patchouli smoked old fashioned blew my mind. I lost the ability to speak, think or communicate because of the remarkable flavours that was coming from that smoking whisky tumbler. Micky turney I'm sure, will be making waves in the cocktail field very soon so keep your eyes open for this guy. He is a pure alcoholic alchemist .
The wife and I dine out quite a bit but this is the 1 place I can say for an absolute fact that I will be returning to again and again. And proud to have somewhere like this on our doorstep. Possibly the best place we've been in 2021? Maybe. Just maybe. Phenominal!!
Just back from a Mother Day meal and we have been nothing but blown away. Attentive staff, outstanding food and a lovely atmosphere have made our meal an incredible experience. The staff are hardworking, quick to help and knowledgable of their menu showing that Novo really invest in their team who work so well together. The open kitchen is always an interesting feature in any restaurant and this one showed high hygiene standards and calm chefs which added to the experience. The Mithers day gift bag was a lovely extra too. Cant wait to go back!
