Lovely location by the river Thames. Plenty of tables outside next to the river, but the indoor dining room is lovely. Food was nice, but they had sold out of some of the sorbet options and we were only informed after ordering. We were a large group and had pre ordered our food. Food was delivered t
Fabulous Sunday lunch outdoors sitting by the water’s edge. Great service, friendly staff and a hugely appealing menu and wine list. The spicy chicken wings are the best in the world. I’ve eaten wings in umpteen countries and these were another level. We ordered extra starter bowls of them for the t
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Great good, brilliant service and top class location with views over the river. The Scotch egg was exceptional, the blue cheese sauce on the chicken wings outstanding, as was the beef and ale pie. Would highly recommend.
Reasonable pub grub. The service was OK, but a little chaotic as we were a party of 10. They even got the bill wrong and undercharged us, which we paid later after they contacted us. I would go back again, mainly because it's a nice location.
The perfect place for a riverside Summer meal. A sharp shower discouraged use of a mooring-side table. We were seated by a tall open window which brought the river to us (literally after dark when the bugs flitted in to schmooze the lights). A quality menu, tasty but pricey. Pleasant service. A trea
What a gorgeous spot on the Thames! It's fabulous. People on boats mooring up and popping in for drinks, and people paddleboarding past. A great place to watch the world go by. Staff are lovely and friendly. One of us had fish and chips, and the other a sandwich. Both were nice. The dining room is s
Fantastic lunch time visit. Called only 15 minutes before we visited and booked a table for 4. They happily let us use one of their enclosed wooden 'pods' outside by the river. Service was some of the best I've had in years: attentive without being overbearing, very quick serving orders, friendly an
My daughter booked this place for lunch for four of us. We had a table by the riverside which was beautiful this is in such a lovely setting. The food was brilliant arrived hot we were looked after by a young man who was attentive even though they were extremely Busy. We will go back in fact we cant
Ate at the restaurant. The food is of excellent quality and nicely cooked. The Beetle pie was delicious. Recommend if you want a nice gastropub/restaurant that is up to scratch and delivers on what they say they offer.
This is a favourite of ours when seeing friends who live locally. What a perfect summer setting to watch the river life, boats n all. The food is well presented and tasty. It's a higher priced setting though you get the memories to nourish you after the moments evaporate. See you next summer.
