Amazing food, beautiful attentive staff who are very friendly. HIGHLY recommend this place (although now thinking may not be able to get a seat in the future as everyone will be going there). Pics are only of dessert as too busy eating starter and main forgot to take snaps, VERY good portions. UPDATE Sept '22 still love this place food still amazing, yesterday went for a roast dinner (delish).

Beautiful pub located right next to the Henry Moore Estate. Enjoy a delicious Sunday roast and a pint of beer in the quiet garden, a perfect plan for a Sunday or after a visit to the estate. Very friendly and attentive staff together with the owner make it even better!

A lovely country pub, well worth a visit when in the area or visiting the Henry Moore foundation. Had an amazing few pizzas from Grace Makes Dough who is there at the weekends, highly recommend these!

Came here in January for my Mum and Aunts birthday. Even though we were hung over from NYE we still really enjoyed the meal and the ambience and everyone including the unhung-over enjoyed their food. Seems very dog friendly and has a lovely beer garden and a massive car park which I believe is an overflow for the Henry Moore Foundation over the road.

Always thought I could cook a roast dinner better than eating out. How wrong was I. A very generous portion, beautifully cooked and presented. Loved it that the owner asked everyone as they left how the meal was. Really shows they care. Couldn’t recommend highly enough

Set in lovely Hertfordshire countryside, near to the Henry Moore sculpture park. Very decent pub food and I has a well kept ale from the local Hadham brewery. Nearby is the also excellent Prince of Wales in Green Tye.

Lovely country pub, Meantime IPA on tap is 👌 It's a shame they didn't have any ciders or Diet Coke left though

Went with a regular walking group for Sunday lunch. Often we have to pre-book our food, not a problem, but here we could choose on the day, preferable. The food was still delivered promptly and was delicious. The staff were also very efficient and attentive. We'll be back for sure.

We stopped here on a motorbike ride through the beautiful local countryside . The staff were extremely friendly , and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside in the Spring sunshine enjoying the lovely gardens. We had coffees and shared the delicious banana & Baileys Bread and butter pudding and the sticky toffee pudding- divine !! The pub has a beautiful , light and tastefully decorated interior. We would thoroughly recommend a visit .

We were a rowdy party of 5 adults and two children aged from 84-3. The staff were kind and attentive to us all and coped with excited children and a hard of hearing octagerian. The food and drink were great just what we needed. A particular highlight for me was the ice cream with Cointreau.... marvellous! Thank you so much, sadly for you we will be back !

Hoops is a brilliant place to go, shame about groupon customers that complain about the price on TripAdvisor

I've had many excellent meals at The Hoops over the years & especially now, since Franko, Alistair & the team took over last year, this is now a top-notch gastropub!

We had our 1st meal here today, amazing Roast Dinner shared a whole chicken with my son, Beef Roast for my partner and mini Burger and chips with a beautiful coleslaw for my daughter. We were all in foodie heaven. The menu looked amazing, we will be back again to try out the whole menu there's something for everyone on it. Best to book next time
