From arrival to departure the staff were excellent. The attention to details and the attentiveness shown by all was amazing. They were helpful with luggage and accommodation. Nothing was too much trouble. When we arrived, they were waiting for us and called us by our names, including our dog that we were travelling with, to which they found a few days prior too when checking that we did not suffer from any allergies. The check in process was so swift, calm and easy and they took you to your room themselves along with assisting with your luggage. The rooms are lovely and clean, and the heating works well. They have a nice touch of a doggy bag filled with a huge blanket, large enough to fit on the bed, 2 bowls, some poo bags and a lovely bag of treats.
They provide delicious bathing products in the bathroom and the towels and dressing gown were so thick and soft and fluffy!
There are two options of where you can eat your meal, in the restaurant or the vista dining room. If your traveling with your pup, then the Vista dining room is where you will eat. This is a lovely bright dining area with a superb view of the coast line, personally I think it is the better dining room. There are some luxury sofa’s where you can relax after your meal if you chose too, or there is a quieter snug with books etc just off the dining room.
The hotel facilities are amazing, if you are travelling with pet’s and or children or both. The hotel beach is lovely, and a lovely walk down after breakfast. I could go on an on but would urge you to experience this place for yourselves. It has been a wonderful experience, I just wish the hotel was around when my children were young!
Many thanks to Sarah and all the staff at The Polurrian Bay Hotel for the fantastic efforts they went to for wedding of our daughter on Saturday, and to the chef and all the kitchen staff, absolutely amazing food for the breakfast and evening buffet. The organisation was faultless many thanks Sarah for its smoothness. What a memorable day. Les & Grace
Wow wow wow! Until now, I never knew such a place existed. What an amazing concept! We have just stayed overnight with our 2 children (4 & 1) and we have all had a wonderful time. The facilities for kids/families are second to none - everything has been thought of,including the little things, from nappy bins in the room to bottle washing services at reception. Whilst the kids played in the well stocked and friendly crèche, hubby and I were able to relax and enjoy wonderful views and great service in the Vista Lounge. The food was delicious too. Thank you all so much - I can't wait to return.
First visit to the Polurrian Hotel. Peaceful and lovely coastal view. We had an afternoon cream tea which was well presented and the sandwich fillings were lovely. Hotel very clean and the staff were lovely. Would definitely recommend.
This is a lovely family hotel but like any hotel it is only as good as its staff and food, Both are excellent. The receptionists are brilliant, helpful and happy to recommend places to visit and a pleasure to chat to. The restaurant staff especially Kostas go above expectations to make your visit an absolute pleasure and every meal I had was bob on. Will look forward to going again.
This is the perfect place to relax on a Sunday afternoon with the children. The vista restaurant is great and caters for kids so well. Can't recommend it enough.
had an amazing stay at the hotel, lovely view in the dining room and great food. We took our little dog and had a doggy welcome bag in the room
It was our first ever visit to the polurrian hotel and I must say a very enjoyable one, we took in the lovely views and enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch, the staff were excellent, we could not have expected anything more , I would recommend it to anyone.
I took my mum for a spa and afternoon tea experience. It was excellent in all aspects. We enjoyed swimming and the jacuzzi with use of towels and gowns. The afternoon tea was amazing! Such a great variety and kept to my dietary requirements. Great staff and service. We will be back. Thank you.
Lovely place to stay - great food. Went to a fantastic wedding there. Brilliant atmosphere, amazing setting and really happy day. Thank you!
This hotel is a delight....The staff are both friendly and professional. They made us feel like part of 'The Family' which is what this hotel is about....We arrived early to make use of the pool/spa facilities and on arrival we were made to feel welcome, all the hotels facilities explained. I was also given a courtsey call a few days before arrival reminding us of our spa times and asking what time we would prefer dinner. Our booking was for a 'inland facing room' and when we opened our room door we had been upgraded to a sea facing room which was spectacular!! Thank you.
I would throughly recommend The Polurrian Hotel.
Great stay, very helpful and caring staff, excellent Covid19 safety measures in place, wonderful food as usual, no complaints at all.
We stayed for 4 nights and I would.highly recommend the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, food was great, views and sunsets to die for. Enough choice in the breakfast menu to stop anyone being bored and all to a really high standard. The decor was really nice with clearly money having been spent on chairs, tables lampshades etc. making the hotel feel modern but informal. Definitely would love to come back
Beautiful hotel.
Spa was lovely, had a beautiful facial from the beauty therapist. No working showers, afternoon tea was lovely, however, if I'm being picky I ordered granary bread and it came out on white. Nevertheless , a lovely place to stay, stunning scenery and very recommended! Well done.
Once again I came for a treatment! The lovely Tabatha was available and once again I received fantastic care! Her massages are superb! Highly recommended! Thank you! Hopefully back next year! Margaret Daniels
Would have been five stars but the food choice was disappointing, pleasant staff but service was slow. Bedroom was nice and comfortable, hotel location and views were stunning. Go again? Yes if the food choice improved.
Marvellous location, good service. A mention for Ryan who runs the restaurant. One minor hiccup and he was most helpful. He is well on the way to emulating "Gustave" of the Grand Budapest Hotel.
Super spa day....super friendly staff, beautiful location and facilities. Highly recommended. Will be back for sure.
