Very well kept traditional pub. Cosy, clean and friendly environment, decent prices but I personally didn't think there was a good larger selection (all good if you're into Stella an.. I can't remember what the other draft larger was; i thought it was Carlsberg, but maybe Carling?).

Friendly, comfortable pub with very good beer. Only downside when I was there was that they didn't take cards, however, that might have been a temporary issue & even if it isn't temporary, so long as customers remember to bring cash, that is not a problem.
Smart local in backstreets. Cash only payments when we were there. Nice beer garden too.

What a lovely gem of a pub. In times when so many pubs are disappearing from our communities this place is an oasis of calm and beer. No food, no music, just the banter and gossip over a pint of Bass. Heaven.
