Review The Corner House - Mundesley

Martin Roberts
A nice casual cafe in the pretty coastal village of Mundesley. Great place for coffee and breakfast with a large English breakfast and drink costing £7 Only criticism is that the only option for eggs though is scrambled... Unusual for a cafe.

Fantastic quality crab sandwich with a side salad. Fresh and delicious 😋. Tea lovely great size. Excellent value for the money. Highly recommended. Staff friendly and helpful.

Very good spot for lunch. A good selection of sandwiches and panini's available. Nice coffee. Friendly and efficient staff. Very COVID aware, ensuring we used Track and Trace, had face masks when moving around and using sanitiser. Made us all feel safe.

Absolutely brilliant cafe. We went as they were dog friendly. Staff were fantastic and accommodating. Gluten free options Food was excellent. They even make up picnic hampers for the beach with a blanket. Dog even got some free treats ( more than in the pic!). Really clean too and nice community atmosphere. :-)

Reasonable prices, modest tasty menu, friendly staff, clean, cheery light ambience & DOG FRIENDLY! We stopped off here last year & have been again (3 times this week!!) always leaving satisfied! They do takeaway bags including picnic packs/hampers (with £20 deposit for the latter) to enhance your visits to the beach too!

The atmosphere here is lovely, very relaxed, great little place. Food is really nice, I've eaten here a few times and the salads are amazing. Got served by a young lad Jack who was very polite and helpful.

Pretty decent. The young serving staff seem a little unsure what to do without being directed (waited 25 mins for a slice of cake to be delivered which was missed with the rest of our table's order and when asked the person serving said he had to do another table's drinks order first before he could get my slice of cake, result obviously our party had all finished their meals and drinks before I received mine) but great prices and choices, some gluten free and dairy free options too. Pleasant and airy atmosphere.

Stopped for lunch; bacon, sausage and egg bap, egg mayo salad and tea for 2 with a selection of cakes, which were 4 full sized portions. Lovely food, generous portion size, very reasonable price. Definitely worth a visit!

Was very impressed by this little place. So great to have a dog friendly cafe right next to the beach and they even served dog sausages 😍 breakfast was served quickly and tasted delicious and the staff were lovley too. The breakfast had good quality bacon which is rare and the toast was thick decent bread with proper butter 🧈 will definitely visit again ☺

Second time here! Had a lovely light lunch with my mum and my daughter for my birthday. It's so lovely to find somewhere that does a proper salad and it's great value for money too. 3 people with drinks under £20!

Lovely food and the cutest little coffee shop. There are lots of trinkets to buy from local artists and crafts people.

I absolutely love this place! Such a lovely place to go after a nice walk on the beach. Great food, great coffee and brilliant service. Well done guys!

A well presented eatery. Food is good if a tad overpriced. For me, what lets the place down is the fact that the times I've been in myself and my guests haven't felt particularly welcome.

The cafe is sweet- it's clean and is good for sandwiches, tea and cakes and jacket potatos (that kind of thing)..and a local business we have been trying to support by coming here twice a week for lunch for a long time now. Imagine how sad we felt that the owner earlier on had to accuse me of stealing in a very loud voice in front of other customers after I plugged my phone in to recharge it for a few minutes. Perhaps I should have asked, Im from London originally where plugging your phone in is the norm ! and wouldn't normally say anything about it but we shocked by the vitriolic nature and tone of his accusation and the fact he couldn't have been a little more relaxed, myself and my two friends were actually traumatized for several hours afterwards and so won't be going here again.
