Review The Catch - Mundesley

Very nice fish and chips with views of sea and the Ship Inn pub right next to it if you want to grab a pint with your fish and chips. Chips were very crispy and fish portions were good. Service was also prompt.

I enjoyed GLUTEN FREE cod and chips. Very nice and cooked to perfection. The only thing that prevented me from giving 5 stars overall was the lack of gluten free vinegar available and the fact that the person who served me really didn't care. I'm sure the management will sort this out and I shall definitely eat here again 😋

Visited last Friday evening - it was very busy and staff were working flat out but they were still very helpful and polite. I had rung in advance to check gluten free options and was very pleased to find the range available. Between our party of seven, we had haddock (both normal and gluten free batter), cod, scampi and battered sausages plus chips and all were delicious. Lovely to sit outside but under cover, overlooking the sea. We have visited three times before when on holiday in the area and have been very satisfied each time. Very happy to recommend.

Really delicious chips cooked in veg oil, crispy and not dripping with oil. Lovely. Not the hottest I’ve ever had but certainly not the coldest. The taste and texture made up for that. Friendly staff directed us to the vegan menu when we asked about the chips, which has a few tasty looking options on. We really just wanted chips this time but would try them another time. A fabulous end to a perfect trip out to Mundesley. Thank you.

Delicious fish and chips. Good sized portions. Very good gluten free batter on the fish. Extremely busy but staff were doing a brilliant job. Would go again.

Pretty cool little place right outside the pub so you can have a pint with your food. The food was good and I really like the different flavours of salt. Definitely put a new twist on your fish and chips

Tasty fish and chip takeaway built in the car park of the Ship Inn. Service was good and the food ok, not the best chippy in Mundesley (the Village Chippy is) but has the advantage of being able to sit down in the Ship's pub garden to eat.

Best fish and chips in Mundesley! Huge portions of chips. Fish has always been good as we're the fishless fingers. Nice selection of interesting salts to try as well. Would certainly recommend giving then a go.

I had never gotten food from here before and was pleasantly surprised. The fish and chips here have a unique taste and flavour that I have never experienced anywhere else, which makes it special (the taste was good, by the way). In addition, the atmosphere of the inside is great, it is chaotic yet organised. I definitely would come back here.

When we ordered our fish & chips from this chip shop we were given a buzzer to wait outside or in the car, so I couldn't say about atmosphere but the food was excellent & didn't wait long

Huge portion of chips. Tasty freshly caught fish. You have to be patient for your food as it takes a little while for them to cook it.

These 1 star reviews have never had good fish and chips obviously.... just been in... eating on the way back... nearly turned around to tell them how good it was. Would recommend to any Paragliding pilot visiting 👍🏼
