The perfect place to spend some time with friends. The service is great. Very good breakfast and lunch, all kinds of drinks and freshly tapped cold beer. Alternatively you can sit outside in the sun and enjoy your drink. The pool table can be used for little money.

We sat outside because it was sunny, they have a lot of tables outside. It's not the best view in the world, but there was a good atmosphere and most tables were full. The bar staff were a bit unsure of their stock and we got charged two different prices for the two rounds we had, even though they were the same drinks. There was reasonable selection of lager and cider on draught but the only IPA I saw was Innis & Gunn Gunnpowder - which is a good IPA but they could do with a choice. The prices are very low, and if you're a student they're even lower. I think we were under £15 for 2 x Gunnnppwder and 2 x Corona ( 330ml bottles). We didn't get any food but the menu had more than just the usual burgers and hot dogs, so we'll definitely go back to try that.

Excellent place to just relax and eat good food at reasonable prices. Service is friendly and really care about the customers, and pets, always smiling and going that extra mile to bring successful outcomes. Favourite place and inside the QMU, excellent curriculum and innovative enterprises. ☆☆☆☆☆☆ Yvonne Aduteye.

I LOVE Maggie's!! They have so many delicious vegan and gluten free options so it's almost hard for me to choose what I want each time I'm there! I love sitting in the room with the big screen and watching the music videos play. I also really like sitting outside in the patio area when the weather is nice. The staff is very friendly and it's nothing but good vibes in there. 😋 I might add that I'm a study abroad student visiting from Arkansas, USA. Maggie's had made my time here in Edinburgh/Mussleburgh even better!😍

Nice cosy place for a quick breakfast/brunch, great food and good ambience. Loved the coleslaw, even though am not much of a salad person! Food was just on spot, highly recommended

Good value. Ideal for the poor students. 😢 Helps makes their parents financial contributions go a bit further. 👍

Staff are friendly, food is nice most of the time. Odd times it hasn't been the same quality of food. But the place is open and bright and spacious.

Staff were friendly and nice. I had the nachos which I enjoyed. I don't like guacamole so asked for extra salsa which they gave me. Only thing is that I would have I liked the cheese to be more melted as some parts on the nachos it wasn't. Overall a good place to visit.

Great environment to sit down before and after class, food is medium level but it is cheap and we always get almost one of everything when we do get food!
