Went to Caffi Isa for a funeral reception. Venue is lovely and friendly. Cafe is set in the library and it was nice to be surrounded by bookshelves full of books. Choice of seating either cafe chairs or comfy settees. Tea, coffee and hot choc all very delicious. The salt and pepper chips are very good. The cafe supplied the buffet of sandwiches, salad, crisps and other finger food which was fresh and tasty. Will definitely return on a less formal day.
Awesome (not-so)-little venue. Cafe is really smart and has a slight Friend's Central Perk vibe (although no Gunther yet). You can browse the book titles / book spines galore from your seat !
Great cookies and coffee, nice place to sit and hang out and some interesting events hosted there too. Little gem in the middle of the village.
Changed the layout but still awesome.
So friendly. Feel very relaxed in a friendly atmosphere with good food. Almost like a second home!
Love this cafe, its got some nice comfy sofas in there, a little library and a lovely vibe.
The staff are all sooo friendly as well.
They have little pop us shop stalls now and again (usually mentioned on their Facebook page) and then Ian the Baker has hos little stall a few days a week with fresh bread and sausage / vegan rolls which are on par with Chatwins!!! Maybe even better tbb.
As a Mum, this is my local go to place to meet a friend for a coffee.
Went to see Tommy Scott from Spacce there. What a fantastic venue and night out I had with family. Very well organised, a great venue 5☆
Lovely little find , seems like the whole community use this cafe . Lovely ladies working on the counter , have yo say breakfast was lovely and a fab coffee...would recommend
Great venue for coffee chat and quiet reflection usually has community events and fabulous artisan bread for sale
Great local cafe with lovely food and coffee, would definitely suggest you try their cakes.
Love the community feel, such a warming place to be in. A hive of activity. I took my laptop and did some work there. Plenty of room and lots of choice of drinks and snacks. The Jammy Dodger cake looked pretty amazing!
What an amazingly community cafe and venue
We call in here to wait before we picked our grandson up. Lovely little community cafe with very friendly staff.
Not local visiting family
Lovely little cafe. The prices are reasonable. Also boasts a play area for the children which is a variety of toys and books for them to play with. It also has a small library in the cafe. Certainly worth a visit.
Great place to meet friends and family as there's a fab cafe and plenty for children to do. Lots of books, toys and some craft to keep them entertained while you enjoy a cuppa and chat.
Excellent community cafe. Great for kids. Gluten free catered for. The cakes are amazing and the staff are wonderful. So good to have this on our doorstep.
What a hidden gem! Fabulous food, in a library next to a brilliant bookshop and an artisan baker, what more could you possibly want
I love caffi isa , I'm a childminder so to go there with a small group of toddlers in the morning is great as they have a play corner full of toys and books , also after school is good for the older ones as they have access to the pc for games. But to catchup with friends over a coffee and cake it's a perfect location........its the hub of the village !!
Our Welsh Group meet weekly at Caffi Isa, where we are able to buy drinks, delicious home made cakes and soups at reasonable prices , in a friendly , pleasant and very helpful environment . After over 40 yrs living here, I can now see and feel a Community Spirit developing . Da iawn to you all.!!
Always a joy to visit with a friendly welcome and amazing food ! Cakes are delicious. Particularly enjoyed the Welsh Rarebit 😋
