The staff here are wonderful. They are welcoming, friendly and helpful. I visited today after not going for a long time and they recognised my dogs, seemed really pleased to see us (mainly the dogs I think!) and even gave Alfie and Betty (the dogs) a free sausage sandwich as it was Alfie's birthday yesterday. They are such lovely people, the food is excellent and not over-priced like a few dog friendly places, and I cannot praise them highly enough. I definitely recommend this café to anyone who enjoys good food and delightful staff. The only grumble I have is that they don't open at weekends 😁. Photos are the walk along the canal to get there.

Absolutely beautiful food i couldnt eat it all but after a 2 hour drive and waiting for the depot to load me i wandered aroumd and found this place amazing food hope i end up there again.
Update. 28/03/2019 my boss told me to drive wagon down halifax again and this cafe made my journey that much sweeter knowing i would have my fill from this lovely little place. Ordered the special and a pot of tea it was amazing. Going to ask my boss when im next down this way...
This is 2 times out of 2 that ive been here and both times were great. Please if you are close to this place get in there and try it for yourselves.

Lovely food. Lovely service. Outside seating avaliable with a nice range of soups and vegetarian options. Jas always goes the extra mile for us. The cafe itself is always warm and inviting and stopping for a chat is just as nice as the food. The vegan cake options are some of the best I've had (never really been a fan of vegan food) but ate every bite of the banana cake I had ordered.
What a surprise! Not easy to find the way in, but worth it. Surprisingly good food, British food with an Indian twist.
Found this cafe by chance when it was recommended by a member of staff in Russell Dean.
The coffee was good and the food delicious and reasonably priced. The chips were some of the best I've had!

This place would be easy to miss as there is a shared entrance, but do seek it out!
I'll be honest one of the best restaurants and takeaway food places around. It's local to my place of work and they serve the best food around especially the Indian burgers and beef burgers. So friendly and a nice place to sit and have a beautiful burger with chips cooked to perfection.
Not a huge amount of seating but a really lovely little cafe offering a good range of freshly cooked food. Take away is also available. However note that it's cash only. Hopefully that will change fairly soon, but until then there's a cash machine just down the road.
