Delicious food, helpful and friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. We sat outside as it was a hot day and once we moved tables we couldn’t be happier! (Our first table was right by the door and rocked due to uneven ground below). The staff were very accommodating and gave great recommendations when we were unsure which dishes to choose. I went for the tortellini ragu and my partner had the tuna steak. The food was cooked to perfection and was full of flavour. Would definitely return if we were to visit the area again.

Definitely the best restaurant around. We were a party of six and got the last available table. The place was packed, but we got our food fast and it was super delicious, real Italian dishes and vibes. The staff is super friendly, what a great evening we had.

Came at the recommendation of another local business owner, and am very glad we did! It made for a very special last night of our holiday. We were greeted like old friends on arrival and departure, which was so nice. Service was excellent, and the food delicious. Very generous portions too! A lovely atmosphere all round.

We had an incredible Saturday night dinner at Amalfi and it is impressive to say the least. Julia was amazing and made us feel like we were sharing a meal in a family home! Julia is warm and knowledgeable. We can’t wait to come back again! Food is beautiful and I cannot recommend highly enough! Please come here and enjoy!

Popped in for an early dinner. As we are not local, had a choice of a few on the various review sites and this seemed ok.
Great staff, lovely food and a very pleasant feel to the restaurant. Pizza was very good, not too bready, just right.
Pity we couldn’t make a longer night of it, I’d imagine this place has many regulars.
They also offer a Blue Light discount, which wasn’t relevant to us, but shows they have the best interests of their local community at heart.
Well worth a visit for nice pizza and pasta.

Staying in Nailsworth for a few days, ate out here last night. Sat on the outside tables - a little bit noisy with the road directly adjacent but that was fine. Heaters above in the roof so not cold (there is plenty of indoor space if you prefer). Food - devine! Had a very generous whitebait starter and THE most divine sea bass risotto. Wife's carbonara also delicious - she insisted on finishing it despite being stuffed. Staff extremely friendly. Well worth a visit - strongly recommend.

Food and decor felt very Italian. Service was also very Italian. The waitress talked to us and told us about their specials. Food was good, quite pricey. Worked out to be £50 a head for a fairly standard meal. The price was not Italian unless you are in a very touristy area.

What a find! Food was really good. Our waitress Julia was amazing and her wine recommendation was spot on. We're only here for a few days but will be back.
Added: we had to go back as the food and the service, especially from Julia, was great. Was not disappointed in our second visit. We tried different dishes and they were just as good as those tried previously. If you're in nailsworth then this is a must to visit!

What a nice little find! We passed by one day and thought how lovely it looked so popped back a week later. The food, service and atmosphere was absolutely wonderful 10/10. We sat outside on a warm evening which felt like we could of been on holiday. Would definitely highly recommend and will definitely be going back :)

Amalfi hosted our group of 30 recently for our son's Christening and we were so delighted we chose this location for our celebration. The food, service and everything about the day was fantastic. We were fortunate enough to be able to enjoy the gorgeous terrace for some welcome drinks before heading in for our meal. Mario and his team took such excellent care of us from start to finish.

A very warm welcome was given to our family gathering of 10 and especially to the 3 dogs who joined us. Beautiful food, presented beautifully with expert explanation of the menu and specials board. Waiting team were attentive and very friendly.

Stumbled across this fabulous eatery in Nailsworth whilst in the area for a wedding. Enjoyed our evening meal on the front seating area. We were served tasty authentic Italian cuisine by friendly and attentive staff. The salmon and prawn ravioli was delicious. The complimentary limencello shots provided a tasty end to the meal. We said we would highly recommend and would return if in the area in the future - thank you for a very pleasant experience 😊

Had lunch at the Amalfi Restaurant today and i cannot recommend this place enough. The food is wonderful, a good varied menu with plenty of choice. Service was excellent and the staff so friendly and helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean and very authentically Italian. Will certainly go again.

What a find, slightly hidden away in one of the nicest streets in Nailsworth which has a super selection of independent high quality shops sits the Amalfi Ristorante & Pizzeria. We were just visiting and needed feeding and what a lovely meal. I had Bruscetta Amalfi as a starter, one of the best l have tasted followed by a sea base dish again delicious. From a small but well balanced wine list we chose the Primitivo which was intensively flavoured with deep colour. All in all everyone found their meals most enjoyable with the service being very friendly, efficient making our meal even more enjoyable😊
February 23, another visit and once again great meal & wine and friendly service which creates a very relaxing and great family atmosphere.

Travelled from Cardiff on Friday to have lunch at The Amalfi, so glad we did. The food was absolutely delicious with plenty of choice. The staff were friendly and helpful when we were choosing what to eat. I cannot recommend this wonderful restaurant enough, you won’t be disappointed.

Have been to Amalfi's a few times and what a little gem of a restaurant it is!! The pizzas are top class and delicious with a perfect base. Last time I had tagliatelle bolognese which was just divine. My partner had the linguine marinaria which was so delicious that I will definitely have that dish next time we visit. The service is impeccable and the surroundings are extremely convivial. My next favourite Italian restaurant is a long drive to Clevedon so Amalfi will certainly be seeing more of me in the future!

Had two takeaway pizza and found the thin light base and toppings really tasty, so good in fact, we returned the following night to eat in and had wonderful food with great service. The dishes tasted fresh and went down very well. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing whilst being friendly. It is a shame it took us so long to try this restaurant in Nailsworth but we will be back for more food!
