We enjoyed a very tasty and fairly priced Sunday Lunch in the lounge at the Wickstead Arms today. The welcome and service throughout were fantastic. A cosy and traditional pub decor, with regulars at the bar but just as much welcome for someone new (and with a baby in tow). We hadn’t booked, but luckily there was a table. Gluten free Sunday Roast option. Clean and tidy including the toilets (no official baby change due to limited space, but a mat was available and the floor was clean).

Just enjoyed a slap-up Sunday lunch at the Wickstead Arms during a short visit to Nantwich. Lovely, welcoming place, great food, friendly atmosphere. Had two dogs with us and they were also welcomed in. Good find! Thanks to all concerned.

Went to Nantwich for a day out, and a walk around the lake then into town and decided to give the pub a try. Menu looked good and reasonably priced (+ dog friendly), weren’t disappointed! Food was good, service good and just friendly in general. Anyone visiting Nantwich and after a meal ( or a snack) won’t go wrong by paying the Wickstead Arms a visit. Highly recommended 👌🏻👌🏻

We enjoyed some nice meals at the pub, but on our last visit i had the soup of the day and the wife had the quiche of the day. The quiche was nice but not very warm, the soup tasted nice but later in the day I was bad and can only put it down to the soup 🍲. They have a good selection of drinks hot or cold

What find! Met some friends there for lunch and everything was perfect. The food was freshly cooked, generous portions and absolutely delicious. Service was attentive and friendly. We couldn't fault it. Thank you.

Nice pub, we sat outside in the busy little street in the sunshine watching the world go by. Pint of nice/well kept ale and double gin with lemonade about £13. Quick and friendly service.

VERY friendly pub, Carolyn on the bar is lovely. Drank a couple of their range of six real ales - nice. Open fire too.....

We were party of 12, for lunch today and we were looked after royally !
Amber took all our details in advance of our visit, then Sarah looked after us through the afternoon, taking orders for drinks then our food, she did this so professionally, with no mistakes and great knowledge of the menu, including a gluten free requirement.
The food was delicious and fresh satisfying us all. In particular the berry crumble. We will be back 😋

Nice pub, friendly staff and well kept beers. What more do you want. Tried the food today and the Mutton Curry was immense. Massive portion and really tasty curry, great kick. Proper little boozer this place, brilliant craic with friendly locals
Great community asset this place, organising trips out for its locals. The more I go the better it gets #properpub

Excellent little pub, tucked in just off the centre of town with two pay & display car parks only a few yards away. The staff are wonderful, the place is homely, comfortable and very friendly, the steak & ale pie, cooked on demand and shared between diners, is a local legend. The chilli con carne is another much-apprecoated (by me) dish. Many other equally tempting options are, of course, also on offer. Oh - and there is also an excellent choice of beers and other drinks too! What's not to like?

Lovely place, good food (great value for money to be honest), very friendly staff and above all, a nice and comfortable place to stay.
Was my first time but for sure I will return.

Our group came to The Wickstead Arms for a few drinks and a catch up as we had not seen one another for a little while. The experience we had was

an eye opener. The larger lady there is the manager and we had cause for concern due to problems and mix ups with the drinks. We asked kindly for

this to be rectified. She was so rude and questioned us as if we where being investigated by a law enforcement agency ! She raised her voice a

couple of times and as I was personally next to her at this point I could definitely smell alcohol on her breath. Now that would explain her vial

behaviour no doubt. We also noticed some possible health and safety issues due to broken glass not been cleared up which was still left there

when we left. The toilets where so dirty and no hand soap either. We shall not be going again and this pub seriously needs to look at these

issues especially the manager whom is showing this establishment in a very bad light.
