Wonderful Saturday teatime visit to this lovely old pub
The Falafel & Bhaji Salad with Moroccan spiced cous cous salad, harissa dressing was gorgeous, lots of different things on a plate and so tasty & filling. The Cheese pie & chunky chips enjoyed by my other half was full of flavour and even better with gravy! Can't wait to visit again, can highly recommend

I love this pub. Great beer, lovely surroundings. Attentive, friendly service. Effortlessly managed our table of seven for food on Saturday lunchtime. Great selection of meals and variable portion sizes (an excellent idea). Menu has very detailed allergy information.

Lovely pub a short walk from the town centre. Selection of eight real ales to choose from. Ambient background music and no TV. Highly recommended for ale lovers. Food served too

If you want old world charm this is a pub to visit, maybe the oldest pub in Nantwich loaded with character and charm.
Great selection of beers friendly staff and a lovely open fire to warm by in the winter, good hearty meals served at a reasonable price.
Well worth a visit if you want to see a little Cheshire charm.
Good selection of beers all reasonably priced and there's also a nice outdoor seating area to the side of the building furnished in quite a quirky style.

We're lucky to have a lot of nice pubs in Nantwich, and this is one of the best. Well kept beer in a lovely historic building.
