As a michellen star chef I walked in on a Thursday afternoon and bar staff who ended up being the owner couldn't of been more welcoming had a few beers first the my colleague and friend wanted a sandwich and nothing was to much trouble and was delivered with fresh bread and all the sides I more than recommend this superb in my words coming from east London Proper Pub
Fabulous Pub recently taken over by Fantastic Gay Couple Wayne and Ben who have done a magnificent job in turning this large pub into a great entertainment venue!
Recently painted and also new signs outside. Car park at rear and smoking area. Pool table, great live music and entertainment on a Saturday night!
Friday night is Karaoke night.
Sunday lunches (although not eaten here yet)
Not many real ales (although the one I recently tried was excellent, I prefer real ale) but they make up for it with the great atmosphere!
Highly recommended pub.

Absolutely fantastic place ! We called up book a table for our anniversary , when we arrived they had gone through the trouble of lighting us some candles and putting heart placements out , absolute lovely touch!
We also have visited with our 2 children! The staff are absolutely wonderful with the kids , always happy accommodate for all and so friendly ! Have recommended to friends and family as alway a pleasant visit and the food is delicious, all home cooked and fresh always leave with happy smile and full tummy !!
I observed that this is run by a family who are on their toes to meet visitors demands and orders. Being part of the busy area, this is very sought place. Food was above my expectations, well served. Staff is very nice and trying to offer best services. Was busy when we visited but I think you can get seats without long wait
We had breakfast today for my grandsons 15th birthday, 9 adults 4 children, drinks were quickly served and the food all came out together. The food was delicious and lots of it. Very good service, will definitely come back 😊
Fabulous stone baked pizza, incredibly welcoming and a great overall vibe! Some great beers on tap and a large outdoor seating area! Well worth a visit! Thank you for lunch 😬

Great pub set on Welsh Row, usually has 4 real ales on at a good price, plenty of TV's for the football with BT and Sky Sports on offer and food looks incredible and again reasonably priced.

First time out since March 2020! I’m so glad we picked this pub. The menu is great and the food was faultless!! Warm and welcoming atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely eat here again

Had a quick drink in this lovely pub. It is spacious with lovely comfy seats around. They also had games to play which was a lovely added extra.

Went on Saturday 25/9/21 a band called Stepping Lane was playing, the first band I've seen since the end of lock down had a fantastic night. Good selection of beer, friendly helpful staff. Went back following day for an excellent Sunday roast dinner. Will definitely go again if ever I'm in the area
