A wonderful dining experience while staying at The Hotel Nelson. We dined here for breakfast, dinner, and dessert, and not a single dish on the menu disappointed us. Some of the dishes made us gasp in delight and I ate till stuffed. I in particular enjoyed the onion rings, and the belgium breakfast waffles. The service was top notch, the woman I assume to be the restaurant manager was friendly, attentive, and a delight to talk to, and the rest of the staff were also attentive and polite. An excellent place for both breakfast and dinner!

Our last night in Nelson before going home Nth Is...just loved this restaurant. The staff so friendly as soon as we walked in and made us laugh. Israel looked after us, a great young guy, made us feel very comfortable. The food was delicious..the ribs and apple crumble. If we lived in Nelson, this would be our regular!! 😁👍👍

This was my first experience with this restaurant. I chose this establishment as the venue for a reunion with my cousins, then breakfast the next morning. The choice was made due to the fact we were staying at the Hotel Nelson. This has been by far the best choice without hesitation or doubt in our minds. From the confirmation of booking alongside the greeting apon our entrance to the end of our farewells, this has purely been an extremely professional and memorable experience. The food was of Masterchef quality, presented beautifully and the customer service from Marcia was above and beyond our expectations and was not only attentive in every way imaginable but professionally done with an amazing attitude and smile, thank you for making our experience so enjoyable. We will be returning in the not so distant future. We fully recommend the staff of this establishment for your 5⭐️ efforts. Once again, thank you 🥇🏆

What a treat! From being warmly welcomed to the friendly, relaxed atmosphere and delicious food, we thoroughly enjoyed our family dinner out. We didn't get a pic of all the meals, but loved the presentation of the kids fish & chips. In a tall spiral holder and side of sauce. The chicken bacon burger was a hit with the teen (the photo is just missing the pickle & cherry tomato that was on top) The ribeye with mushroom sauce & potato & rosemary gratin was delicious 😋 I added a side salad which complemented the meal. There were some tasty cocktail options and plenty of choices for drinks with full bar service. The staff were all friendly and jovial. Our waitress was very down to earth, and accommodating, and related well to all the patrons around us too. Lots of laughter 😃 Now the dessert....wow. We ordered from the menu, as well as a special of the day - the Tirimisu, which was devine! Not too overpowering or overly sweet. Nice touch with the fresh raspberries too. The chocolate cheesecake was also a win, with fresh cream and berries. And the caramel Sundae with crispy wafer went down well. Overall a great night, and we will definitely be back!

Ate in for dinner twice and had garlic bread and the veggie burger both times because they were both that great but you do need to deconstruct it abit to eat it (my experience). The second time I did order the dessert which was the cheesecake which was also delicious. The staff were all also friendly and easy to get along with. I do recommend this restaurant

The service was excellent right from the time we were welcomed by the staff. Staff are very friendly, patient and checks on you often. The menu satisfied every palate. Presentation of food was definitely Insta worthy. FOH staff were on there feet to make sure diners are well looked after and the tables were cleared in a timely fashion.

Been here twice now and will go there more too! The staff are so welcoming and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. Especially the head lady - wish I new her name. Fantastic service. Both times the place filled up fast, might pay to book ahead. Good menu to choose from, with a few vegetarian options. Good wine options. Reasonably priced. Decor clean and tidy. Food was delicious both times. This time we had the vegetarian gnocchi dish with side of garlic veges and the roast beef special, plus sticky toffee steam pudding. Yums!
