Delightful staff . The cook is an absolute treasure. She cooks great kiwi food at great prices. Very comfortable cafe clean and well presented. A must visit . Lots more choices today.

lovely people, tea, coffee, and food :)
plenty of space yet still cozy and friendly. no background music so it's nice for the auditory/ sound senstive (and didn't notice the coffee machine noise, either). definitely try their teas!

Great little spot in Nelson. Many gluten free options and the omelette was fantastic (thanks Ange).

Great time at Lydia's cafe, i had a long black and an omelet(recommended by staff). The long black was more bitter than im used to, but paired well with the omelet, which was well seasoned and portioned well worth for the price.
The service was awesome welcoming and homly, Lydia's cafe had nice staff who were easy to talk to and very helpful.
The atmosphere was solid and warm, with the place not quite full but well packed. The food was on display nicely, with the register easy to see and not crowed.
Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, and I will be back!

Cute, fresh, and modern without too much fluff. They put in extra effort to make sure I enjoyed my scrambled eggs - which I found lovely. A great central but peaceful place for breakkie :)
