Beautifully cooked chips, large fish, good portions and good prices. My only feedbback is the fish was just a little greasy...its Fish n Chips afterall, and I definitely recommend them.

Very nice fish n chips. The chip portions are a little small compared to others but the quality makes up for it. Have tried a few times now since reopening and has always been a great experience. Thank you

Fantastic Ragamuffin burger, very tasty, fish was very moist, not fatty this was juicy and the chips were great crunchy outside and soft inside, highly recommended you try them, first time I’ve been there, next time I’m in Nelson I will be back. Cheer’s, Wes.

What a wonderful surprise!! I have not had such BEAUTIFUL fish and chips since....well, since I don't know when!
You may be like me and find fish and chips are invariably a disappointment....they look good, they smell good, but the taste is anything but. So we usually bypass the fish and chip shop. But a spur of the moment decision saw us devovouring the yummiest takeaways we have had for a long, long time.
They were hot and crispy, not soggy or fatty. The fish was a generous portion of bluenose, and cooked perfectly. YUM!

Best fish'n'chips in Nelson!!!
Love that I had a choice of canola oil or lard. (We had canola oil) Really lovely fish. Nothing greasy about these fish'n'chips. Highly recommended. The staff are super lovely too. We will be back!

Every time I have had the Fish it has been amazing, fresh and well sized. The cheese bites are epic and the option of lard or cooking oil is awesome and unique to this place. Go maybe once or twice per month and its good every time. Service is always good.

fnc's are pretty good. had the odd firm chip. fish batter crisp and innocently flavored. smallish but enough. clean, fast and friendly

New favourite fish and chip shop. By the taste I can tell quality ingredients and clean fat friers. YUM. New owners really making a difference. Oh and price , very reasonable .
