The Cottage Inn - Nether Stowey - Photo album

I have eaten in many places due to my work and I can honestly say this is the best pub food I have ever eaten. Food was fresh, tasty, and hot even down to the plates being warmed. Attention to detail makes all the difference and the Cottage really sets the standard. Fast service and friendly staff
We arrived late afternoon just as they opened for food and all tables were already booked. But fortunately there was an hour gap on a table and we're able to get a meal. The food was great and the service was quick and attentive. The was well priced too. The pub itself is rustic but in the restauran
Great meals, good service and good value. Can't ask for anything more, would go back again quite happily if we're in the area.
The best venison steak i have ever eaten, melted in my mouth. The port gravy equally delicious without overpowering the venison.
Amazing find, having struck out with all other pubs not serving food, The Cottage Inn really delivered a treat. Great food, good Selection of drinks for all members of the party and good space to eat! Give it a try, I'll definitely be going back when down there! Cheers
My parents and I went for a Sunday lunch. The food was impeccable, delicious and v. Good portions. The service was above and beyond and the place was packed with happy customers. Will be going back.
An excellent pub, good choice of real ale and cider, We had some lovely food at lunch time, it was at out table quickly, and was good sized portions and very tasty, the staff where very friendly, the pub is also dog friendly, recommend
We arrived without booking enroute to Watchet. Having special dietary needs rarely can places cater for me. Not only was I welcomed but many items on the menu were gluten and dairy free. I was also offered a wonderful gluten and vegan sticky toffee pudding with vegan ice cream which was incredibly
Great to see this Dog Friendly pub is back to its best after many years of miss ownership. Great food in a great old pub. Well done to the current Landlady, as used to love this place about 20 years ago & so good to see its back. Hope to return very soon
Had lunch here on our way though. Had a bacon and brie baguette with salad which was really tasty. Open on a bank holiday which was convenient, nice and quiet atmosphere. Staff were friendly enough. Lose 1 star as it is a tad pricey but the portion sizes softened the blow.
We have been in twice lately and the food and service have been fantastic. The service was very quick, food served on really hot plates, generous portions and the steak was delicious. Well done to Kerry and your team. Highly recommend a visit.
Found this lovely place yesterday and stopped for Sunday Lunch, the food was as delicious as it looked, served fresh and piping hot. Very helpful and friendly staff who all served us with a smile. We would definitely recommend and we will return when next in the area. Thank you
Sunday lunches x 2. One veggie. Fantastic food - all of it! Been before, will go again. K
We were staying in the area and ate here three times last week. On all occasions we had tasty, home cooked food, and friendly and efficient service. Thank you.
Took a party of 7 to Sunday lunch, food was freshly cooked and lots of it! The service was excellent and there was nothing that was to much trouble. The pub is also dog friendly which is a plus. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area 😊
Excellent Sunday roast. The food is superb. Delicious, freshly cooked meals. Really worth visiting.
A lovely little pub, very cosy and welcoming. The Sunday roast was delicious and very reasonably priced. Dogs are allowed. Would recommended booking.
