Looking for somewhere to visit on a sunny day, within half an hour of Sutton Coldfield, and this lovely place was an obvious choice. Let's get the negatives out of the way first. If you're a nervous driver and usually avoid country lanes at all costs, this isn't the place for you. Plenty of cars p
It's well worth negotiating the narrow bumpy lanes to reach this gem of a cafe. Friendly staff, and tasty breakfast. Tranquil setting, where you can relax, and enjoy the scenery.
Whitacre is a family favourite of ours. The cakes and breakfasts are excellent and there is a good selection of warm and cold drinks. The walk is lovely and well maintained, there are poo bins for dogs and also an additional fairy trail (plus others) for little ones. The cafe view is lovely, overloo

Positive: Visited for the first time today (06/07/22) with my teenage daughter and her great aunt. My satnav hates me, and once tried to drown me in Poole Harbour so when we started going down single track lanes I wasn't entirely convinced it wasn't drunk. However we made it and found a charming lod
