The Hop Pole Inn Nettlestead - Nettlestead - Photo album

I visited this place for a friend, who wanted a photo of the mural on the pub's wall. Having taken the photos, I went inside and found a lively atmosphere, even though it was a Sunday lunchtime. I had a beer, a most refreshing IPA and just watched the patrons enjoying themselves. I gather the food o
The warmth of the welcome I received from staff at The Hop Pole Inn humbled me. Thanks for showing me round the pub. The inside of the pub doesnโ€™t retain its original character, which is a shame. It is though decorated in interesting maps and stories. This free house offers traditional British dish
The outside doesn't do the interior justice. Beautifully renovated inside but with its original character. Lovely landlord, food and also a bonus of a wonderful garden with children's play area. Well worth a visit and reasonably priced.

I didn't eat here as I started feeling unwell just as we were about to order, but the man behind the bar was so kind, offering me a place to live down and asking my partner if he could do anything to help. He had already been very accommodating, offering to move a table for us. Excellent customer se

Great pub. My whole family had so much fun. They have done a amazing job the new owners. They turned it into a beautiful family pub with great food and very good prices too. Will be back for sure!
Went there for breakfast this morning and it was pretty good. Not much choice around Wateringbury / Nettlestead for cafes so thought we'd give the hop pole a go. Fair prices and good breakfast (like a home cooked one). No one else in there though and no music or TV in the background so it was pret
