Review Salutation Inn Restaurant - Nettleton

Popped in for refreshments on a Sunday lunchtime. It was busy, food smelt good and there were plenty of customers eating. Cosy bar/lounge and separate eating area. Nice outside beer garden, friendly people, beer selection OK and by the taste obviously we'll looked after. Saw the signs for accommodation, but, as only popping in didn't look at it.

We called in here on a busy day and the staff very helpfully squeezed us in. Despite being busy the food didn't take long to arrive and was delicious! Very friendly staff and a buzzing atmosphere in what is obviously a very popular place. Will definitely return!

Had a walk from Nettleton up to Walesby and back, called in at the Salutation for a Sunday roast and wasn't disappointed. Good tasty food, staff very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble for them, enjoyed the visit and will return.

Been driving past this place for years, popped in on a Sunday just before 12, asked if they catered for a gluten intolerance and if they could accommodate us at such short notice, all the staff we interacted with, polite, friendly and welcoming, food was very tasty and well presented, forgot to take a photo before tucking in anyway thank you for the experience, we will pop in again.

Fantastic meal at this friendly pub. Portions are generous and cooked to perfection. The steak pie had large pieces of tender meat and the Lincolnshire sausage was so tasty. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Best to book in advance as it is only small but definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Also extremely dog friendly, our dog was even given a couple of treats too.

It was fairly reasonable. Its one of the only places serving food mid afternoon on a Friday after I'd been for a bimble in the wolds Had the cheese and bacon burger. It was good. Bread was still almost frozen on the bottom and there were a few chewy bits in the beef, but it was good The atmosphere is nice and the staff are friendly, service is pretty quick. 8/10, will be going again!

Top place landlady was amazing barman. Funny and knowledgeable about the area. Nice pint. Friendly people inside very clean. Did not try the food will do on our next visit. As the food we saw come out looked very respectable.

Excellent service and excellent food a credit to the chef and bar staff

Pub was closed on arrival (you may need to update your website as opening hours suggest whole pub opens at 7am everyday) They did have a snack bar open outside though, which served lovely coffee and great breakfast baps. Young girl who was serving handled some difficult customers extremely well (I don't think I'd have kept my cool!) Lovely local ice cream available too, would definitely stop here again if passing. Shame I couldn't get a beer with breakfast, but I'm sure not everybody wants a pint that early ;)

Took some friends from Hull here for a Christmas get-together. We've eaten here before and love the cosy atmosphere of the place. Good was great - we decided to have the 2 course option (a 3 course meal was also available). I had a burger, as did my friend. My wife and the other friend had lasagna. We weren't waiting long and service was fantastic, as was the food. We then followed that up with a desert and the choices were many. We were stuffed afterwards and stayed for a couple of drinks. Prices were reasonable and around the account is expect to pay elsewhere. All in all of absolutely recommend The Sali and hope you'd enjoy a meal here as much as we did

The best pub meal I have had in a long time. The Steak pie was lovely and the plate was full. Man sized portions. Good beer choices, friendly staff and good outdoor seating. I'll certainly be going there again.

We called in off the off chance while passing by back to Scunthorpe. We were not disappointed.. the food was delicious, hot fresh & plentiful.. Service was a little slow, and I was a little disgruntled when the waitress started to pick my food order apart..(Hunters chicken with veg) But after a 30 minute wait I was not disappointed with my food choice or my husband's.. The long food wait is down to it being served fresh which is great..We will definitely be returning in the near future .. Thank you Salutation we really did enjoy our visit

Best (most meat filling and best pastry) beef and ale pie I've ever had. My wife was really pleased with her haddock and chips too. Barmaid was really pleasant and no long wait for our meals. So overall a great meal. Why only 4 stars? A lack of atmosphere - but only because it was a quiet Saturday lunchtime. I'm sure it would be great on any busier occasion.

Beautiful decor, lovely ambience, top class homemade food. Staff could not be more attentive. We went for my parents anniversary meal and they were so helpful. Will definitely go back and highly recommend 👌
