Staff are helpful and friendly which is particularly important as my partner is disabled so requires easy access to the screens. Good selection of films. Plenty of parking close by.
I’ve been coming to The Light since the day it opened. It’s streets ahead of its competitors for comfort & visibility. Their “myLight” membership is absolutely amazing & has not only encouraged me to view movies that I wouldn’t have bothered to see but over the past 8 months has saved me just over £205. We went to see The French Dispatch a few weeks ago. It was the early afternoon show. We arrived in plenty of time, so sat in the cafe and had tea and coffee ☕ by the window.
Ordered popcorn 🍿and a fizzy drink before the movie. The seating is spacious and comfortable. Some cinemas 📽️ feel a bit stuffy but here there's a light and airy feel about the place. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere and we found all the staff to be and friendly and courteous.
Prices are good. You can take your own stuff in, including alcohol. Seats don't fold back but are very comfortable. I'm 6'4" and have plenty of leg room even with people on either side.
Clean and tidy with great staff. Big car park and a 2minute walk into the building. Comfy seats. Although the film was rubbish!!! Definitely coming back.
Excellent helpful staff. Good atmosphere. Brilliant artwork on the walls. Great films. Have always enjoyed the film and atmosphere at The Light.
I came here to see some amazing films like Dune Part 2, the staff are amazing and fantastic who make your experience so special and spectacular and they always go that extra mile thanks guys 👍

Great cinema very comfy seats, lots of leg room. Reasonable price. Great value membership. Can take coffee or drink in with you.
Blake and kallette (I don’t know how to spell it lol) took 1 pound off me and my friends cinema tickets as it was different online and we didn’t have enough, they had amazing service and were so kind and helpful!!
We had fantastic customer service from the cinema manager this evening. We were watching a streamed concert that was not coming through as loud as we'd hoped. She took the time to get it turned up and sorted for us to enjoy our evening. Very clean and comfortable venue. Thanks 😊

Great cinema. Good lighting, comfy chairs. Different to the big chains. Good choice of drinks. I like the fact that the lights don't go off until the film starts, some stay on during the trailers etc.

Quite good cimena, with possibilities of buy some stuffs and there are more halls to watch movies. Although it's visible this cinema is not as good as the old cinemas. But time changes.
