Butchers Korean bbq was absolutely delicious and definitely hit the spot for my Korean bbq cravings. The menu had all the traditional dishes we'd expect from an authentic Korean restaurant including a variety of bbq sets. We had Korean bbq meat set b, Jap Chae, seafood pancake, grilled prawns, beef tartare and the steamed egg. We were also given side dishes, which in typical traditional Korean culture, were complimentary and refillable. Every dish was divine, and the only regret we had was that we couldn't taste more of the menu. Although it's a 50min trip from home, I will definitely be returning when I want a good dose of Korean cuisine. Service was fantasic, flavours were perfect and atmosphere was exactly what we were after. I would highly recommend Butchers to anyone who takes their Korean meals seriously. Definitely try this place 😍

Forgot the take more photos as our guests arrived but upon reading reviews of surrounding places for Korean BBQ, decided to chose this one for their meat selection: hence butchers! The table was set upon arrival as we’ve made a reservation for 4 adults and 3 children (1 needing a high chair). All the side dishes were set as well, kimchi, cucumber mixture, onions, bean sprouts, seasonings as well the typical jalapeños and garlic. We’ve opted for combo of meats, another ribeye, dumplings and sweet & sour pork for the kids, bean paste casserole and egg soufflĂ©. Half of our guests were not familiar with the Korean BBQ but everyone loved it! Side orders of many lettuces and green onions were ordered with Korea’s favorite distilled alcohol (soju) and Beer (Hite). It was a huge success! We opted for another combo of meats and that definitely filled us up to the rim. Service was not as great as in the States however, good! Waitress was willing to grill the meats for us on our table top burner, in turn, making us completely enjoy the food and our party. Those who have not tried Korean BBQ before thoroughly enjoyed them and stated, over and over, they will return!! Parking can be bit difficult as no designated spaces for the restaurants but once again, this is England :)

Amazing food particularly the seafood pancake and bibimbap. Best Korean food I've had in London!

Real authentic best quality Korean food and great customer service ever. I fell in love with their food the first time I went here for dinner. Now I am a regular customer here. If you want good food and good customer service then this is the place. There are karaoke bars near this restaurant if you want to burn some calories singing songs.

First time here, date night and I had high expectations given the reviews. The food was all quite good, good quality meat and tasty traditional Korean sides. I was a little disappointed about the service based on the rave reviews for service though because although we explained it was the first time for us at this type of establishment still we felt a little out of place and we weren’t sure what to do or how to order and didn’t get much explanation/guidance. Perhaps it was an off night...However, the staff were all polite although we didn’t always understand what they were saying (but it’s an authentic Korean restaurant so that part is expected). It was consistent with the traditional Asian style restaurants where you must ask someone to come to your table and they don’t check up on you as much as westerners would normally expect. The food all looked picture perfect, a work of art to just look at. Still, I would recommend this place but wouldn’t suggest it to beginners at Korean food based on my experience alone because I felt a little out of place and confused most of the meal. It’s more for those who really expect high-quality food.

This is the only one of the approx 20 Korean restaurants in New Malden (the largest S Korean population outside of S Korea) that I've been to. Our first waitress didn't speak great English, but was v helpful with choosing what to eat. Her colleague, with excellent English, took over during the bbq service to explain what all the dishes and accompaniments were. We had the Beef special combo between four of us. Delicious food, paleo-friendly cuisine, spicy. Loved it!

Very nice! Very good meat, the shrimp starter in some kind of sauce was out of this world. Atmosphere was very chilled, queit. They did put some music on in the end. The meat platter special was ÂŁ50 and very tasty.

We had a very enjoyable meal here. The rib eye steak was exquisite and equally matched by a damn fine tofu salad, what a combo! Nice lady who showed us what to do 😉.

The best authentic Korean BBQ in New Malden, and New Malden is a best place to find Korean food outside Korea. Staff are very polite and keen to help and ensure your visit is special.
