Popped in during our walk, not been for a number of years and was so glad it was still open. In a beautiful place , lovely bar staff on our visit would have loved to stay longer but unfortunately I would still have to drive home. Not going to leave it so long for my next visit.
Nice little village pub. Friendly staff. Ideal place to pop in and quench your thirst after a day walking or cycling. They also do little snacks like ice cream, crisps and cakes. Would recommend đź‘Ť
Can't beat the location. Beautiful traditional building. Friendly staff. Basic food reasonably priced, you get lots of it too. Which is what you need if you are using it as a stop on a hike.
This is just an amazing pub. Situated really really off the beaten track, it takes effort to get to but you’re rewarded with a proper old school English pub. Top beer and lots of good outside space. Loved it. Went on my bike.
Didn't dine so don't know about the food. But excellent local pub and enjoyed the quiet background music of Freddie Canon while drink a pint of Guinness
My very first home, my brother was born in the Fox 1962.. we have been back a few times to reminisce..whilst there we had a lovely meal, dog friendly..staff pleasant.. great surroundings.
Visited again today3rd June ,on a sad note...Mel and family kind and caring ... excellent food , service excelle
Nice little traditional family run pub. Does food and has a pool table, as well as sky TV and WiFi. Lovely patio area outside. In ladies bathroom also has lots of useful toiletries for just in case you need them.
Great little pub set in a wonderful location that always provides a warm welcome. Lots of outdoor seating and surrounded by beautiful walking routes. Visited most recently during Covid times but they were still providing food and drink through one of the windows.
As usual "Fantastic" and at a inexpensive price. A beautiful beer garden in lovely surroundings and great food to boot, what more could you want ?
