Went to a private function here and was impressed by the venue. The room was great, upstairs was another bar, and comfy chairs to chill out. Plenty of parking on site too. Would recommend
We had a childrens party at Chalkers and everything was perfect, the room was beautiful, lovely big space for the kids to run around in and a bar for the adults. Everyone at Chalkers were fab, thank you all for a great time!
Great venue for the 70th party we attended. Lovely bar staff. We were parked in our camper at the marina, only minutes walk away, so ideal. Great place, good value drinks, great beer.

I have visited chalkers on many occasions and have always had a pleasant experience there. All staff are friendly and well mannered. All the work that has been put into turning the pub into what it is now is incredible. Can not fault the new owners or any of the staff there. Looking forward to plenty more visits!

The staff were really friendly and the snooker table we had was decent, just been re-clothed. They said they'd just took it over so there was a bit of work going on at the front door, but it's probably finished now. Their function room looked pretty modern as well. Will defo visit again as they had a lot of tables and we can never get on one in Buxton.
Good choices of what to do, some arcade machines, good food and overall good experience. However, it was a bit dated.

Tables recently re-clothed and the bar has had a refurbishment also. Was a bit nippy in the middle of February but all round, a good place to knock about a few balls
The only venue in New Mills for snooker, pool and watching sports. They have sky and BT sport's. Helpful and friendly staff, especially Josh (he's a good egg). Freehouse with great prices, happy hour week days between three and seven. They have teams in local pool, darts and quiz leagues. Free booking for events such as birthdays, weddings and funerals.
Very nice place! Loved playing pool with my mum. There was a Ps4 and I was working fine! I recommend it for a chilling afternoon😅
Great place indoor& out drinks reasonable prices, and mini arcade for kids & grown ups!! All sport shown, like it lots 👍
