Lord Ted - Pub & Carvery - Newark-on-Trent - Photo album

Didn't have the carvery but it looked great and very popular. Had the all day breakfast which was good. Nice bacon sausage and eggs let down a bit by boiled mushrooms and overcooked beans. Would be better with fresh or even tinned tomatoes. Will be going back to try carvery
I really donโ€™t have anything negative to say about this place. Food (carvery Lord Ted) quality/price was amazing. Staff is really helpful and everyone was looking clean and tidy as well as the place around us. Good atmosphere and I loved the ceiling.
Busy Sunday lunchtime (and I mean busy!). We'd booked a table, which we had to wait for. However once seated, orders were placed and we were quickly guided to the carvery. There was a good selection and plenty of it. Everything was being replenished often, so it was all freshly cooked. All pretty go
Popped in for a carvery on our way home from west Sussex, beautiful place, food was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. The place was rammed with customers. Would recommend 100%
Carvery pub with quite large additional menu. You can order via an app which is a nice touch. We ordered drinks and food and the delivery was very quick. Staff were nice and the food was great value. Would recommend for a hearty meal and relaxing drink. Also nice kids play area outside.
Food was delicious! All 6 of our party thoroughly enjoyed their meals. My local Greene King Carvery could learn a thing or 2 from your chefs... especially with those gorgeous crispy spuds! Service was brilliant, we used the app to order and pay, which made things really easy. Kids loved the playg
The carvery is excellent with a choice of three meats, many vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and pigs in blankets. My roast beef was very tender and flavoursome with the vegetables cooked to perfection, too. This, the millionaire's cheesecake which I can also thoroughly recommend and two drinks came t
We had a full breakfast and the carvery of the day. My hubby enjoyed the breakfast which as well as being delicious, was a healthy portion. I had the carvery which was roast turkey. It was very tender and succulent. Great variety of vegetables and a great gravy. The Yorkshire pudding took up a third
Good food, service was pretty good, just had to wait to order at the til but another member of staff came over so it wasn't too bad. Large TV screens dotted around which I found distracting. Tables cleared and cleaned really quickly between customers.
Nice food. We had a tasty generous portion of Katsu curry. & steak and cheese fondue. Staff were great and corrected an ordering error we made. Nice homely atmosphere.
Brilliant restaurant. First time visiting and very pleased with the service. Was served by Katie and Ethaney who were lovely and very friendly. Food was good, we had the veggie curry which was a good size and very tasty, the fish and chips which was massive and a really good bit of fish and the carv

Absolutely fantastic our first time visiting here. The food was absolutely amazing hats off to the kitchen staff and the lady who served us I believe her name was Lisa was Perfect at her job, greeted us with a beautiful big smile and helped with everything we wanted. Next time we're having the carve
Working on my boat at the marina. Usually we'd walk into town for food, however, we tried various places but all not serving food due to it being bank holiday. We decided to try the Lord Ted instead for the first time. I have to say I wish we had tried this place before, staff are amazing and very f
The carvery is excellent value and quality. The vegetarian options need to be expanded. The day went there were no salads because they had run out of lettuce and wouldn't get any until the following day! Why didn't they go out and buy some locally? No salads all-day - bad news for my vegetarian wife
We had a lovely meal followed by delicious deserts .My husband struggled with his ๐Ÿ˜‚it was massive .It was meant to be shared .๐Ÿ˜‚ .
We live miles away from you and happened to Google a carvery in your area whilst passing by. So glad we came across you. The food and service were Great. Thankyou. Our local pubs where I live in Buckinghamshire could learn a thing or two
