Wandered around Newbiggin and was told this was the second best pub here. Nice welcome. Usual beers but the local darts team practising! Very cute.

We went here for breakfast three days in a row. The first day they weren't even actually open for breakfast but he still cooked us sausage sandwiches. The other days we had a traditional cooked breakfast, the eggs were amazing, poached eggs! Beautifully done as well. Lovely local sausages. Impr
Excellent food as always, nothing to much trouble. It was nice to walk in after two years of isolation and have the staff and customers remember us

Unpretentious, friendly. Prompt service. Plain, traditional, home style food cooked fresh, cooked well and served piping hot. Marvellous !
Great Beer good traditional pub, The hidden Gem is the restaurant ran by Mark which is separate from the Bar, great Quality Food at good prices you need to go and eat here you won't be disappointed highly recommended 5 stars

Great friendly pub. I had my birthday party in the function room and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.
Local pub. Was very run down but now it is a very nice place to go. A bit select but very friendly. Good traditional ales.
