Such a lovely cafe in Newbold Verdon, it’s beautifully decorated, such a great place to catch up with friends. We went in for coffee and cakes, we didn’t know reservations were needed, staff managed to get us a lovely table and we had cakes and coffee, which were very nice and prices are very reasonable. Will definitely book a table next time. There is no parking for the cafe, but lots of free street parking spaces. lots of lovely cake choices

A wonderful afternoon tea, good choice of sandwiches, scones and plenty of cake. Staff extremely helpful and friendly; nothing was too much trouble for them. We have also previously had breakfast there which is also excellent. This coffee shop is a little treasure and well worth a visit.

Visited Liberteas some time ago with a friend for coffee & cake. Impressed with the variety & cake was delicious. This morning I visited with a friend for brunch after a walk & had the best & perfectly cook English breakfast. Excellent service despite being busy. Well done & thank you all.

We cycled here after being recommended it by a fellow cyclist. Fantastic Coffee and an amazing range of reasonably priced cakes, means we will be making it a regular stop-off for future rides 👊. Staff are really friendly also, taking the time to chat to you. The breakfasts and afternoon teas look amazing. The owner mentioned that Tamworth cycling club regularly visit, so it's great to find another cyclist friendly venue. Well done guys 👏👏

We love Liberteas, the cakes are wonderful, and they offer oat milk which is perfect for me as I don’t drink cows milk. The cafe is spacious and light with a lovely outside area with chairs and parasols when it’s sunny. The menu is a decent size with everything from sandwiches, panini and toasted sandwiches to soup, jacket potato and afternoon tea served from China plates, cups and saucers. It’s definitely worth a visit and they recently won best cafe award

Wow, what a find! Went in today for booked afternoon tea. I contacted them via Facebook messenger and arranged a booking, they replied quickly and courteously, also checked if we had any dietary requirements. The building had been very tastefully renovated. Everywhere immaculately clean. Service from the moment we walked in was fantastic, we were dealt with by 3 people. Rich very quickly brought our afternoon tea over, plus a few extra finger sandwiches, due to a little misunderstanding. Coffee - lovely. Food - bliss, plenty, needed a takeaway box. Pricing - spot of for what you get. Lovely indoor and outdoor seating. We'll definitely be returning for a brunch.

Bottom line up front: best cake I have found in the area. My wife and I visited for a quick coffee and cake stop. Two generous slices of cake and two hot drinks cost £11.60, so not particularly expensive. The portions were bigger than most places and I wouldn’t have wanted them any bigger, just right. Unlike a farm tea room I recently visited, the cake was moist and very good. The food is prepared in an open kitchen that gives the customers confidence in the cleanliness. I wanted to try everything that passed us. The menu isn’t extensive but has everything for a breakfast, lunch or cake stop. The room is set out with plenty of room between tables so you don’t feel crammed in. All the staff were friendly and chatty. It is a polarising subject, but it seems they are pet friendly as there was a labradoodle sitting quietly with its family. It was nice to see but I can appreciate that not everyone will like this. The room felt clean, calm and comfortable. It was nice not to have mobile reception for a while as it stops people sitting looking at a screen. Cash, card and Apple Pay are accepted and as an added bonus we were given a loyalty card allowing for a free drink once full. I will go again.
