Stopped here today for Sunday lunch, roast pork for me and a vegetarian option for the wife and I can honestly say it was by far the best Sunday Roast I’ve had in a long time…
We then decided to sample the dinner menu for a take away and it didn’t disappoint. Great food at very reasonable prices and dog friendly as well..

One year on from our first visit and it was even better than we remembered! Great meal and first time with our new puppy! Really great food, great service, and great time. Honestly, I can't wait till we are back on holiday again, not leaving it a year this time!

A busy thurs evening didn't stop the lovely lady finding us a better table to fit round,,we had great service and can highly recommend the ribs which were beautiful, and proper home made chips were lovely too,the pub has a lovely atmosphere,is very dog friendly, and the two lovely ladies handled your front of house spot on !!

Lovely pub, fantastic friendly service, dog friendly and was lovely to see people of all ages and backgrounds here. cozy spot by the fire place, Duke box available for a sing along and a t.v yo watch the footy. The burger was delicious.

Lovely little pub.homely feel.had the gammon which was amazing.ordered an eton mess for desert..hmm bit odd..strawberry sauce at bottom.loads of sloppy squirty cream.little bit of meringue on top .one strawberry and more sauce...was a bit too sweet...would defo have the meal again but not pudding

Staying in a cottage nearby for a week and really pleased to find such a wonderful local pub that is dog friendly too. The staff were lovely and the food was amazing. Our kids had a nice play area to keep them occupied and the pub garden was perfect to enjoy the sun. Would highly recommend and we'd love to come back.

Very friendly staff, car parking spaces out the back. A pub cat! Top notch grub, proper 8oz Welsh Lamb Steak with fresh veg and dauphinoise potato 👌 reasonably priced, and a nice outdoor garden to chill in. All in all, a worthwhile visit!

Charming authentic friendly pub. We had a delicious burger and the spicy Korean chicken thighs which were very tasty. We arrived with two dogs on a busy Friday evening and hadn’t booked but nothing was too much trouble, we will be back !

Visited on an over night stay. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. There was a good range in the menu including several vegan options. The food was delicious!!!! The pub was busy with a good atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Very welcoming and accommodating.
Fast service, happy staff, accurate order taking and well priced. We travelled up from Oxford to visit family and will definitely come here again next time we visit!

Nice pub. But the food was grim. Very poor, cheap, frozen food warmed up. Would have scored it 0 if it was an option. Won't be eating there again.

I always go here when I stay at my mums caravan. The food is great value, big portions and home cooked. The Sunday roast is delish. It's the place to be on Saturday night, whilst there are lots of locals - who are very entertaining - they welcome you in. Great atmosphere!

Mushroom Stroganoff probably the best I've ever had. Beautiful food, huge portions and cheap too. Couldn't fault anything. Will definitely eat here again if we're ever in the area.
