Stopped for Pie and Chips. I have to say, the fresh batch of chips were properly cooked and crispy, well drained and then salted nicely. The pie was crusty/flakey and cooked in an oven not just soft and gooey, done in the microwave.
I'm very pleased that I tried this place. Paid by card, no quibbles. The atmosphere was quiet and subdued. The young lady preparing the food was on her own and busy, but very polite and did a 10/10 job with the food.

Oh my goodness , what can I say , My Husband and I had a breakfast there this morning which was Amazing , we tipped the service as they were super friendly and on our way home from Newcastle Emlyn Town, we picked up a large chips , which was large , my goodness it was xtra xtra large for £3.20 . The chips were Amazing , crunchy on the outside and so soft on the inside . My husband and I agreed these were the best chips we had ever had in 65 years of our life. The staff were super friendly this morning and this evening . Thank you all x

Had fish and chips last night (here on holiday). Delicious! Fish was lovely with a thin crispy batter and the chips were not a soggy lump like in many chip shops.

Cracking old school chippy/cafe. Really friendly staff, quick and efficient service. Good cafe menu with a really welcome amount of Vegetarian and Vegan choices. Prices are really fair and the food was better than plenty of places that charge a great deal more. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Nice to hear the waitresses being so warm towards the older customers.

Excellent service even when they're busy. And no wonder they're busy. Good food, excellent service at a very fair price. Tables cleaned, covid safe and a special mention for the washer upper, brilliant.

A decent fried breakfast, everything well cooked and good value too but the coffee was far too strong to even drink, however, as it was included in the price of the breakfast it can't be marked down for it.

Much more than just a chip shop !! I had the best vegetarian breakfast ever with really tasty sausages, the vegan lasagna was awesome too - . We went in thinking this was a chippy but was pleasantly surprised by the menu and choices for vegetarians/vegans. Need to advertise this more outside - the food is excellent and the staff were really friendly highly recommend 👌🍽
