We have visited twice now and every single member of staff was friendly and helpful.
The meals were exactly how we asked for them and absolutely delicious.
Having recently moved from Birmingham to the local area. We can honestly say this is the best pub/restaurant we have ever been to anywhere.

Eloise/Elise (Heavily tattooed girl - Great tattoos by the way!) was amazing very lovely and polite. Thanked us for our patience and gave amazing customer service! We would return again for sure! Ps, we love the ‘Thanks for your patience’ rather than ‘Sorry for your wait’!

I was able to take my dog inside which was a great bonus. A lovely varied menu suitable for all tastes. A very busy pub but all dishes were delicious.

The only annoying thing was the Pub didn't open until 12 and when the doors were opened the queue to be served longer than usual as other customers had arrived early, infact the car park was filling up fast, as was the bar queue as there was only one lady serving! So, maybe need to hire more staff?

I go here quite frequently because it is near where I live. Whenever I go, it is always busy. The food reflects the prices which are inexpensive. The menu offers typical pub food, such as burgers, fish and chips, curry, chilli, scampi and chips. The sizzler meals come on a metal, handleless skillet placed on a board and it literally is still sizzling when it arrives at the table. This time I had the scampi. It was scampi and chips on a plate, no salad or veg but that is fine by me. It was tasty enough.
Food orders are not taken at the table. You have to go to the bar to order your food.
If you want sauces, you go and help yourself to the sachets on a table by the door.
The staff behind the bar and the waiting on staff are friendly and efficient. However, there never seems enough staff behind the bar, so there are always people waiting there. (Hence the four star rating for service)
The atmosphere is that of a busy family pub. Early evening, there are families with children, but it quietens down towards half eight when families are starting to leave and people come in just for drinks.

Since having a shake up of staff again it's gone back to the DT of old, it's polite, friendly, the food is beautifully cooked and all the staff are quick to help...lovely pub again and worth the visit.

Seems a decent place. Didn't eat here but it must be good as it was busy both times we called in with plenty of reserved tables.

The food was excellent, hot and fresh and the steaks all cooked exactly how we asked. It was my son's birthday, the staff bought out the cake and sang happy birthday,making his day ❤️
Manager was hot on checking people's I'd and all in all one friendly experience.
