Amazing!! Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Food was to die for, people were lovely, music was great, facilities spotless. Worth every penny, and we will definitely be back! We took their recommendations on the food and drink as we were very open to trying new things and it was all amazing.
Everything was incredible. The owner/chef are total sweethearts, and the food is out of this world. I was visiting from out of town and came in on my own, these folks made me feel right at home. Highlight of my experience in Newcastle and so grateful I stumbled upon this spot. If you've never ha
- Go for the seafood. Ceviche & Choros Y Langoustines A La Crema 👌 - There are salsa classes on Wednesdays at 7. - The owners are friendly. - Inca cola is like a creamy irn bru. The pisco sour was tasty. - the grill is only on certain days.
The food was absolutely delicious. Freshly made and authentic. We ordered causa, aji de pollo and seco de cordero which was great! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. I strongly suggest visiting this place and I promise it will not be your last visit. Atmosphere was great and music was a cherry
Absolutely delightful. The food was excellent, and the cocktails were amazing too (and very well priced, definitely the place to come if you're partial to a caprinha or a pisco sour, we had several!). It was quiet when we went but this didn't bother us too much and it is hardly the fault of the rest
Really loved this place! Great quality food & we got treated to a dance and tequila on the house at the end. Really friendly service! Thanks guys!!
Had a great time at Rumba, we had the Lomo Saltado and Aji Gallina. They were both really nice, but would’ve liked a bigger portion for the Ají Gallina.
Amazing authentic Peruvian food and very friendly and helpful staff. Coco is more than happy to play some Peruvian music and tell you stories about it, and Alfonso cooks amazing food. Recommended! Our favourites were the causa and the seco de cordero
My partner and I got there at 6pm and there were only 4 other customers in the restaurant, so it was very quiet. The host was very charming, convincing us to get the yuka instead of the chips (he was right, the yuka was better!). I also got the Inca-cola, which was lovely. Service was very slow, but
Excellent little restaurant. We had an early dinner before a show so had the place to ourselves but it didn't take away from the experience as our host provided a lovely friendly service with lots of chat and some salsa music in the background. We had some great food and cocktails and a black zambuc
Great authentic place, lovely food. Owners very welcoming. Even tried Salsa dancing which was great fun 😊
The rumba restaurant is fantastic: with lovely tasty pizza and superb rumba burgers. The rum and whiskey was exactly what I needed in a cold night. The dancing girls and men are not to be missed .. ENJOY :()
Lovely food, very friendly owners - helped us order the best things from the menu. Would love to come back soon!
Delicious food, but the decor indoors seems a bit cheap. Good atmosphere overall despite that. We also had a salsa lesson after eating which was very fun.
Great staff, attentive and explained food well, even had a little dance with him! Food was great, everything was tasty and good quality, reasonable prices too. Ambiance was good, music authentic and looks like could turn into a lively place later in the night. Try it, you will not be disappointed.
Great little independent venue. Well worth a visit!
Visited this Peruvian gem and was blown away by the amazing food and ambiance. The flavors were authentic, from the ceviche to lomo saltado. The atmosphere captured the essence of Peru, and the friendly staff made the experience truly memorable. A must-visit for delicious cuisine and great vibes!
Very tasty food. Nice relaxed atmosphere with good music and friendly too!
