2nd time I have been there. The homemade pasta and the garlic bread was really amazing. Reasonable price with nice atmosphere.
Went to the Newcastle branch on Saturday for my friend’s stag do. The whole experience was AMAZING!! We made our own pasta from scratch and the chefs put the finishing touches so we could enjoy them! Liam was the perfect host. He explained everything so well, was patient with us when we were messing up (well not me) and the highlight of my day was when he gave me a big block of Parmesan when I asked if I could have more cheese. Made my dreams come true. Would 10000% recommend and I will definitely be coming back!

We came to Zucchini’s a few weeks ago for my mams birthday and had such an amazing time doing the pasta making lesson. Chris, our chef, was great at teaching us what to do and made the session really relaxed and fun. We weren’t there at a busy time but the staff were limited so were juggling tables at times, yet despite this they made sure we were always okay for drinks and enjoying our time. Philip was a brilliant waiter who even let us make one of our cocktails! We will definitely be returning and have told many of our friends to book - the staff and experience are a credit to the restaurant.
The only thing I would suggest is you make four different types of pasta which create quite big portions, maybe you can decide two to eat in the restaurant and two to take home as by the time Chris came with the third dish we had to ask to box it up as we were so full! The sauces he made with them though were so delicious we want to return for a normal sit down meal.
Went for the bottomless cocktails menu and it is 100% worth your money. Food and drinks were awesome and the staff were lovely. Even went above and beyond to give us recommendations for things to do around Newcastle while we where here on holiday!!
Came for bottomless brunch and had a wonderful time! Our server Phil was great, he made us a few pitchers of popular cocktails while we decided on food then kept the drinks flowing for our time slot. He was super friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and filling. Excellent value for money :)
Went for a pasta making class, absolutely amazing! Chris our chef did an awesome job of getting us involved and such great value as well! All of the pasta we made was cooked into 4 delicious dishes all of large portion size including truffle cream sauce and a beef ragu which was impeccable. Will definitely be visiting again
I've been to Zucchini on multiple occasions and always had a fantastic dining experience, the pasta is freshly made and immensely tasty, the service is brilliant and the cocktails are spot on.
We've dined in casually, enjoyed the bottomless cocktails offer and more recently, we experienced their 'Pasta Making Masterclass' as a birthday gift.
We couldn't recommend this enough - Liam the manager was an excellent teacher, he made us feel really comfortable and looked after us all evening, we made a variety of different pasta which was then cooked by the chefs, leaving us absolutely stuffed with grins on our faces.
I'd give Zucchini and their staff more than 5 stars if I could - We'll be back very soon.
We've eaten at both the restaurant in the Metro Centre & the restaurant in Newcastle. The food is excellent, beautiful flavours and tastes like genuine Italian cooking. The prices are very reasonable and the service is great, friendly and welcoming staff. The photos I've added are the mac & cheese with extra mushrooms...lush. The pasta is a beef, pork & fennel dish, also very tasty. We also got the tomato and garlic ciabatta which was delicious. I can't recommend this place highly enough, we love it and will definitely be coming back.
The meal was delicious. Couldn't fault the meal! Service was a little slow but it was restaurant week so it's understandable. Meal was given in phases. The kids meal arrived first, adult sides arrived 10 minutes later, then adult mains were delivered 30 minutes after the sides. One of our party was still eating a main, when all dishes were cleared away. This for us, is bad server standards. Made the last person feel rushed.
The atmosphere was very noisy and echoing. There was music playing but you could barely hear it above the other echoing voices.
