Food is amazing, can't wait to go back again. We ordered a few different mains with a couple of snacks to pick and mix from and so pleased we did, we just couldn't decide what to get it all sounded so amazing. Great size portions for the price but we were stuffed with everything we ordered. They kin
Wowza don’t walk here … run ! Fabulous meal. Had a day date with my missis and we both like a bit of spice, boy we were not disappointed. We got a selection of different foods and the tastes blew us away. Amazing staff, fantastic food and lovely restaurant. Can’t wait to come back again ! 1 mill
The curry laksa was almost as good as it gets. The rice in the Hainanese Chicken rice was spot on, the chicken itself was average. The Nasi Lemak just missed the spot. The kankun belachan was a bit sweet and not spicy.
This is the first time for me and the people I visited this restaurant with, from work. I was totally unaware of the dishes being served here, and the choices were far too many. The staff seemed quite busy, and therefore, I didn't want to inconvenience them by requesting a recommendation. I went
Six of us went to this resturant for dinner on one Friday evening. The resturant was super packed with mostly student age customers and a few families. The mix of people was an indication that it was attractive among locals. We were there to celebrate an occasion. The starters were average and the m
Definitely don't come here alone. Come with a couple friends and order some dishes to share. The taste is ok but it's definitely not super authentic I only had the lamb curry but I might come back to try some other dishes
Ordered food through Uber eats . Tried their Indian styled me goreng and Nasi goreng kampung . Basically we had a noodle and one rice dish. The rice dish was really good did not like the fried anchovies in it. But the rice itself was really good. Not very spicy but very flavorful. The noodle dish d
Been here a few times in the past but not since Covid. Top choice for East Asian cuisine. The portions are quite big and will easily fill you up. Tom Yum Soup is easily one of the best on the menu. They bring out what is ready unless you ask, so be mindful if you’re expecting starters first or for e
Love the food here, one of my favourite food places. The food seems authentic and isn’t washed down and made mild. I’ve started to try more things on the menu that 2 of my go to dishes love spicy food. The drinks could do with being fizzy though most of the drinks are flat. The food is fast to come
Dined in 3 times and delivery for a couple of times. All great but not their salted egg one. The best is Kueh Teow Goreng!!!
Have visited the place and its one of the delicious foods we tasted. the staff is very friendly and the choice of dishes are alot. If you looking for a place to eat out, this should be on your list.
It's probably my favourite restaurant in Newcastle. I have eaten here numerous times now and never had a bad meal. The butter prawns are amazing, and I also highly recommend the smoked chicken.
📍Chilli Padi, Newcastle Upon Tyne Another Malaysian Restaurant in Newcastle, this spot is clearly a favourite amongst locals. I hear that the founder happens to be from Sibu, a town in Sarawak. It was lovely to have food resembling home. With so many dishes to choose from, I had a hard time decidi
Their Nasi Lemak was to die for! Definitely a must try!
Delicious halal authentic Malaysian Chinese food. We had a great family dinner in New Castle. All food we ordered were great - some highly recommended menu are: prawn noodle (mind you, it is so spicy, but incredibly tasty), crispy chicken chop, hainan chicken rice and seafood tomyam. The portion is
I tried their pulled tea , roti canai and buddha bowl from their vegetarian menu . The buddha bowl was really bad in taste , but the other options two were amazing.
Busy little place but fast service and great quality food despite that! Salt and chilli chips seem a staple as everyone was having them and we couldn't be the odd ones out! Fi had a hot pot and I went for the lamb curry, worth a visit if you can get in because the first time it was fully booked!
