Food is amazing, can't wait to go back again. We ordered a few different mains with a couple of snacks to pick and mix from and so pleased we did, we just couldn't decide what to get it all sounded so amazing. Great size portions for the price but we were stuffed with everything we ordered. They kindly gave us a couple of containers to take away the food we couldn't manage.
Service was great. We booked a table but we got there not long after 12 and wasn't too full but by time we left majority of the tables were full. The food comes out within minutes of ordering but can see in the kitchen it's cooked to order.

Wowza don’t walk here … run !
Fabulous meal. Had a day date with my missis and we both like a bit of spice, boy we were not disappointed.
We got a selection of different foods and the tastes blew us away.
Amazing staff, fantastic food and lovely restaurant.
Can’t wait to come back again ! 1 million percent would recommend to everyone, you will love it.

The curry laksa was almost as good as it gets. The rice in the Hainanese Chicken rice was spot on, the chicken itself was average. The Nasi Lemak just missed the spot. The kankun belachan was a bit sweet and not spicy.

This is the first time for me and the people I visited this restaurant with, from work.
I was totally unaware of the dishes being served here, and the choices were far too many.
The staff seemed quite busy, and therefore, I didn't want to inconvenience them by requesting a recommendation.
I went with the Kongpo Chicken, my mistake, as the dish was sweet and that is not to my taste.
It's unfortunate that I didn't know what to choose as I have had authentic Malaysian food at a friend's house, and I loved it, but I couldn't remember what it was called.
It is quite pricey, so I would suggest to getting a recommendation of the type of dishes you like and not being disappointed with your choice like I was.

Six of us went to this resturant for dinner on one Friday evening. The resturant was super packed with mostly student age customers and a few families. The mix of people was an indication that it was attractive among locals. We were there to celebrate an occasion. The starters were average and the main course especially the chicken based Rendeng was awesome. My friends said they enjoyed Beaf as well. The tofu chicken curry was tasteless and the fish curry was too spicy. Overall it was a mixed experience. I will for sure visit for the chicken Rendeng.

Definitely don't come here alone.
Come with a couple friends and order some dishes to share.
The taste is ok but it's definitely not super authentic
I only had the lamb curry but I might come back to try some other dishes

Ordered food through Uber eats . Tried their Indian styled me goreng and Nasi goreng kampung . Basically we had a noodle and one rice dish. The rice dish was really good did not like the fried anchovies in it. But the rice itself was really good. Not very spicy but very flavorful. The noodle dish did not impress it said spicy on the menu but it was actually sweet and spicy very over powering sweetness to it. Overall the quality was good.

Been here a few times in the past but not since Covid. Top choice for East Asian cuisine. The portions are quite big and will easily fill you up. Tom Yum Soup is easily one of the best on the menu. They bring out what is ready unless you ask, so be mindful if you’re expecting starters first or for everyone’s food to come together. Busy times the drinks can be a little slow. Other than that, this is a great place to eat.

Love the food here, one of my favourite food places. The food seems authentic and isn’t washed down and made mild. I’ve started to try more things on the menu that 2 of my go to dishes love spicy food. The drinks could do with being fizzy though most of the drinks are flat.
The food is fast to come out

Dined in 3 times and delivery for a couple of times. All great but not their salted egg one. The best is Kueh Teow Goreng!!!

It's probably my favourite restaurant in Newcastle. I have eaten here numerous times now and never had a bad meal. The butter prawns are amazing, and I also highly recommend the smoked chicken.

Another Malaysian Restaurant in Newcastle, this spot is clearly a favourite amongst locals. I hear that the founder happens to be from Sibu, a town in Sarawak.
It was lovely to have food resembling home. With so many dishes to choose from, I had a hard time deciding on what I had to try.
The ‘Aubergine & Sliced Fish with Rice’ was delicious. Thick clear sauce, generous in amount, with large slices of fish pieces fried in batter.
My friend loved the ‘Mango Tofu’. Savoury and sweet, the dish was lovely. The vegetarian curry, however, felt a little blend. Perhaps, to cater to the general tongues, spices here have to be a little mellowed.
How nice it is to be reminded of home once again through cuisine served here.

Delicious halal authentic Malaysian Chinese food. We had a great family dinner in New Castle. All food we ordered were great - some highly recommended menu are: prawn noodle (mind you, it is so spicy, but incredibly tasty), crispy chicken chop, hainan chicken rice and seafood tomyam. The portion is big, so most of them can share for 2. Soy grass jelly is a must try too! Havent try all but I am sure they are all worth it.
Important tips:
- better book in advance via phone call, it is always full house.
- parking not as easy, so better plan your parking using YourParkingSpace app.

I tried their pulled tea , roti canai and buddha bowl from their vegetarian menu . The buddha bowl was really bad in taste , but the other options two were amazing.

Busy little place but fast service and great quality food despite that! Salt and chilli chips seem a staple as everyone was having them and we couldn't be the odd ones out! Fi had a hot pot and I went for the lamb curry, worth a visit if you can get in because the first time it was fully booked!
