A Taste Of Persia - Newcastle upon Tyne - Photo album

We recently visited Persia . We were a party of four, including two adults and two children. We ordered the mixed grill for three, which was really good. It came with a variety of meats and vegetables, including chicken kebab, lamb kebab, chicken wings, and lamb chops. The humus and freshly baked b
Came from Liverpool to New Castle and we were looking for a Persian restaurant and we found a Perfect one, Food was very good and well designed, Staff were kind and polite especially a lady named Maryam. And nothing is like a pot of Persian chai after food :)
A group of four went there to celebrate a friend's birthday on the 23rd May 2022 and again two more times in 2023 to celebrate other occasions. Overall we had a lovely time with probably best Persian food in the city. Highly recommended.
Lovely restaurant. Five of us ate there early on a Saturday afternoon so it was quiet. The Happy Hour lunch from 12-4 was excellent value for money and the food was so delicious and tasty. We'll be going back again in the near future.
Great find and very close to the train station. Loved the Ghormeh sabzi ai ordered which is my favourite Persian dish and nicely followed by fresh mint tea. Friendly service and great value for money as well.
Awesome homemade Iranian cuisine. Open and affirming place that accepts and serves all people.
It's the BEST Persian Foods in Newcastle. Every time I come to Newcastle, I always visit this place for lunch or dinner. This place is one of my favourite restaurants in the whole UK! The food is freshly prepared and very delicious. Excellent service and the staff amiable and lovely. They make sur
Very delicious authentic Persian food and friendly staff. I liked most the soup. Worth visiting. What I don't like about it is that it serves halal food but serving alcohol. I had a chance to sit upstairs in a quiet space.
We booked there totally by accident. Very happy we did!!! The most amazing place and the most amazing taste and food quality we had in ages . A must visit place regardless if you are a local or if you are passing by. Hospitality, super kind people. Thumbs up guys!!!
Great food: the Barg was delicious, the chips perfectly cooked with tasty seasoning and the olives fresh and aromatic. Friendly staff with great service, and an easy to get to location. Would recommend for sure
Food is absolutely beautiful & staff are lovely love this place.
The best Iranian restaurant I have tried in a really really long time 🤤 honestly just writing about it makes my mouth drools. I loved everything I have ordered. Service was excellent, food took a while to arrive but nonetheless it was worth it! 💯/💯! Recommended
Some if the best starters we have ever had at ANY restaurant! Main course was lovely too! Persian ice cream was too die for. Came for the first time tonight and won't be the last. The gentleman service us this evening was so welcoming and lovely :)
Great food and really good service. We had to grab food quickly as we were playing at the globe round the corner and they were very happy to oblige. Heavily recommend.
The grills including kobeidah kebab and Bakhtiari were good. We loved the freshly baked bread and the stews. We tried the eggplant with lamp stew and the chicken saffron stew. We also tried the zershek polo rice.
I believe this is the best halloumi wrap I've ever had (I came back to have it for 4 nights in a row, during my stay in Newcastle) - I've had halloumi wraps in Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds and Durham in the last few weeks, so I have done some comparisons! Warm people, cosy and elegant venue: highl
Ordered the Haloumi, mix grill with naan bread and rice and omg I was blown away by the flavours and the taste that were dancing in my mouth. Can't believe why this place isn't busy.
The most amazing food in Newcastle. My colleagues and I spent 36 weeks living and working in Newcastle, and this traditional (and fully authentic) Persian restaurant became our firm favourite. We'd eat there at least twice, often three times a week! My only caution is that the restaurant was establi
