Absolutely marvellous breakfast experience! Beautiful interior and great service, the scrambled eggs were divine, the French black pudding was a positive surprise and the pastries were fresh and baked to perfection. The only issue was that the temperature of the food could be higher when it was brou
Walked in on Friday night and got a table despite being busy. Service was great and quick. Food was excellent, fish stew was outstanding. Crème caramel was lovely. GF menu was the reason we went, food is always excellent.
My First time visit COTE in NCL It was delicious crème brûlée it was a such a nice treat! Perfect high quality and the taste and texture reflects that. These are super smooth and creamy without being too heavy or over the top sweet.
A fantastic first visit for my partner and me. We were a bit skeptical initially but we were proven wrong every step of the way. The staff were warm and welcoming. The food was exceptional and in generous proportions. Will definitely be coming back very soon. Cotê was the highlight of our day.
Henry gave us a very warm welcome and a lovely table and produced gluten free menus without being reminded. The food and service were faultless
Called in on the off chance late in the evening after our original dinning plans collapsed. A warm friendly welcome from staff that proved to be very pleasant and friendly throughout our meal. Very impressed with the food. Crab starter and French onion soup were really nice. The beef cheek bourguig
Delicious breakfast on a Monday morning. Service was friendly and efficient. My croque madame was delicious and my partner enjoyed her veggie breakfast. Only issue was that the waiter sat us right in front of the main entrance... Plenty of other tables so was a little unthoughtful. Asked to move tab
Cote always seems a reliable option. Today they had a brunch menu, as well as regular fare. Portions good, (duck a l'orange and Camembert to share as starter) . Service was good and very nice ambiance in Newcastle. Only real comment is that it is perhaps slightly pricey for what it is, especially as
Great central location. Food is delicious!!!!! Good selection of wine and very attentive staff. Would definitely recommend for lovely lunch or special dinner. 5*
Was a bit apprehensive about trying here as it looked totally out of my price range, but O.M.G. what an eye opener. Price was totally reasonable for 3 courses and drinks. Staff were SPOT ON, ATTENTIVE, Couldn't do enough for us. Barman seemed to be a bit unsure but that may just have been the cream
The service was great from the minute we walked through the door (unfortunately I didn't catch the name of our server). We had our drinks within minutes of sitting down and the food was not long in following. I had the gluten free full English breakfast and my sister had the regular full English, bo
Absolutely fabulous place, can not fault it. Me and my partner went here and were seated straight away no problem. Service was impeccable from the moment of walking in to the moment of leaving. Great pricing too, got two courses for £14.95 each. Great with allergens, one of us has a gluten intoleran
Beautiful in every way. A nice break from the usual Newcastle options. Elegant and affordable. Clean. Great service. Many Gluten free options. Non alcoholic drinks are amazing. Alcoholic drinks are super. Kind and beautiful people.
Amazing pre-theatre meal. Food is always fantastic here, also wine menu is brilliant, check out the white Bergundy and the Sancerre. Also has the best creme brulee ever, so good I didn't manage to get a photo before it was gone.
What a wonderful experience. The place is elegant and spacious. The staff are attentive and friendly. It’s usually busy so you need to make a reservation. I had a mushroom soup, ribeye stake and creme caramel. The mushroom soup was very delicious and the creme caramel was exquisite. The rip-eye was
Wonderful modern place with inventive French cuisine. Everything we ordered was excellent, and we're particularly surprised by the beetroot tartare - an exceptionally fresh and delicate dish. Impressed! Service was attentive, helpful and friendly. Truly unexpected gem in the center of the city.
Delicious food and great atmosphere. Seems like a reliable place
Was my first time here but won't be my last! Food was lovely - we ordered from the set menu - prices are good, staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was fab! We were a party of 10 and they could not have been any more attentive! Nothing was a problem! I will be back!
