The Bridge Tavern - Newcastle upon Tyne - Photo album

I really enjoyed coming here. I was a bit dubious given the overall energy but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was really delicious and despite some of the pricing being a little high it was really good. We had a nice table with lots of space and the service was also really good. Thanks for bei
The place was bouncing, standing room only. We had booked a table for food, the table was ready for us. The food was decent. Great service and friendly staff.
Very cosy brown pub with a good atmosphere, kind and helpful staff. Quite a big portion of Fish & Chips with delicious cod, potatos, Tartar souce and a crispy green kale. Really good!!
Always call in here when in Newcastle. It's a great pub for a few late night drinks, when most of the noise heads further up into town. Great selection of drinks and friendly and efficient staff. It's good to find a city pub that attracts a real mix of people and doesn't just cater to the weekend
Yum!!! The salted duck is amazing. Super meaty and flavorful, cooked perfectly, fat really nice, and cabbage absolutely delicious!!!! The mashed potatoes could be improved by the addition of garlic but so would all mashed potatoes and that is more a general opinion that I hold to be universal truth
We come to this popular pub fairly often, when we visit Newcastle. Always a great selection of local ales (Wylam's Tabernacle is highly recommended), friendly staff and customers create a nice atmosphere for all ages.
I love this little place. Inside is very cute and laid back. Lots of different types of beer on tap. Stouts and sours. A few outdoor options to relax.
First visit in a few years and delighted it's still a great pub. Good selection of cask & craft beer. Excellent pub grub and friendly staff.
Popped in for a bite to eat and the food was amazing. Loved the layout and there was plenty of atmosphere. All the staff were talked to were really friendly and when we talked to the chef he made our mouths water telling us about the upcoming menu. So glad we fell into here!
First time in the Bridge tavern Really enjoyed it that I went back again a few nights later Friendly staff who knew their products Plenty of beers and choices for all tastes Relaxed ambience and comfortable seating along with benches and stools. It has an upstairs and outdoor balcony with heating Si
Had lunch with my son yesterday. It’s the first time I’ve been but the reviews I’ve read and my son’s recommendation made the decision for me. I was not disappointed. Walking in, we were greeted warmly by staff and this continued throughout the whole service. The menu; we were spoiled for choice. We
Great selection of real ales, served by the wonderful bar staff. Nice and friendly atmosphere. Overall a great night out
This is a great pub with a fantastic beer selection with good food as well. They brew some of their own beer on site as well as getting some of the best craft beer available on tap and in the fridge. Sometimes it's gets busy for eating so probably best to book to be sure. Efficient staff serve quick
Quirky, good service, however the drinks were quite pricey. 2 large white wines £23. It was quite empty when we were in but I can imagine the atmosphere would be good if busier.
One of the best pubs in Newcastle, choice of drinks is excellent. The staff are always great, friendly and knowledgeable. I have also eaten there on multiple occasions and highly recommended.
I quite like this pub. I've been in a few times and it's always had a nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly too. The prices are good, not that cheap that it attracts idiots but reasonable for a nice bar.
Microbrewery beers were good and the environment was cosy, food was reasonable. Chicken pie had a nice flaky pastry, but the fish and chips were a little below par. Beers were nice - a good place to relax with friends.
Went for a quick drink with my wife. Nice atmosphere and good service. Didn't eat, but the food looked good.
